Ion Battery. -A flower--like nanostructure of the title compound is hydrothermally prepared from an aqueous solution of Ni(NO 3)2 and NH4HB4O7 (autoclave, 150 C, 48 h) followed by heat treatment of the obtained precursor (1000 C, 10 h). The samples are characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, IR, XPS, and electrochemical measurements. The flower-like Ni 3B2O6 nanostructures show high initial discharge capacity and good reversibility in lithium ion batteries. -(LIANG, P.; DU, L.; WANG, X.; LIU*, Z.-H.; Solid State Sci. 37 (2014) 131-135, http://dx.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
