This article considers the main stages of life cycle of construction project's informational model. The main trends of using various constructions' informational models are revealed and the domestic and foreign experience of implementing BIM technology is analyzed. The maturity levels of BIM technologies are considered according to the Bew Richards model of BIM implementation. It helps to make an analysis of currently used software
Abstract. Problem of obtaining gapless connection between contact surfaces of lining straps of work rolls chocks and facing strips of frames (inner lining straps of backup rolls chocks) is considered. Device for making horizontal wedge thrust of rolling stand which differs in specific consumption of materials and compactness is proposed.
Abstract. Execution of thermal insulation for enclosing structures of residential properties is a sophisticated part of the thermal protection. The choice of insulation materials for external walls is one of the main ways to increase the performance of heat insulation. This article contains thermotechnical calculations of two enclosing structures due to conditions of Saint-Petersburg. According to the results, the thickness of the insulating layer and a total wall thickness of the exterior walls composed of concrete, insulation and sand-cement rendering are smaller than the same characteristics of wall construction of hollow tile, insulation and sandcement rendering.
Abstract. The article considers the process of development of an information model containing both graphic and non-graphic information in a common data environment. It also gives some information concerning this process. On the basis of this information a conclusion is being drawn that the connection of additional data with the existing information models may produce a deep comprehension of a construction project, that is a design cost estimate. In its term, this property isn't expressed by a combination of others (questions of the order of erection works, various performance characteristics, a necessary project support), and it may be considered as a linear-independent vector. The authors also developed and presented an algorithm of formation of a collection of consolidated factors of the building construction cost. On the basis of the aforesaid algorithm, the conclusion is drawn that the introduction of data for the evaluation of expenditures into the information model is more efficient with the use of the existing normative basis. This fact allows the authors to show how to calculate the project cost at the stage of its development using the existing construction cost norms. The calculation of the project cost at this stage may contribute to the process of decision making, and it leads, finally, to the development of an efficient design model using an information model.
The paper presents an analysis of the current state of processing the results of laser scanning to build information models of construction objects at the operational stage.
The authors proposed a new methodology for combining project documentation and executive (as build) documentation (obtained via laser scanning procedure), presented an application of this methodology in the context of the entire life cycle of a construction project. The authors do not try to process point clouds (laser scanning results) and convert them into BIM objects (existing approach) but offer a methodology for working with raw data as BIM object.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
