Sleep quality is a measure where a person finds it easy to start sleeping, is able to maintain sleep quality and feels relaxed after waking from sleep. Sleep quality affects overall health and quality of life. The quality of a mother's sleep during pregnancy is heavily influenced by the physical and psychological changes she experiences. (Delaune & Ladner, 2011). Efforts that can be made to overcome sleep difficulties in pregnant women include doing light exercise that is safe for pregnant women, hypnotherapy, providing health education on how to maintain sleep quality and relaxation exercises. One of the sports that pregnant women can do is Pilates (Hegard, 2010). The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the effectiveness of Pilates exercise on sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women. The research design used was a quasi-experimental, in the form of one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah as many 30 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out by consecutive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. The PSQI is an effective instrument used to measure sleep quality and sleep patterns in adults. The results of the analysis using the bivariate Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a significance value of p value = 0.00 (p value <0.05). This means that there are differences in the quality of sleep of pregnant women before and after pilates exercise at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah, so that there is an influence of pilates exercise on the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the third trimester at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah.

Keywords: Pilates Exercise, Sleep Quality, Pregnant Women, Third Trimester

This paper explores the issue of teacher change, professional learning communities and their impact on student achievement, and teacher working groups in the context of Indonesia. We use secondary data of teachers' competency test for the last two years. Then, we analyze the data and defend our opinions based on literature review. We explore Guskey's model of the process of teacher change and Clarke and Hollingsworth's interconnected model of teacher professional growth. Then, we discuss the effectiveness of PLCs that can lead to teacher professional learning, which in turn improve instructional practice and students' learning outcomes. This research identifies the weaknesses of teacher working groups activities in Indonesia and provides chances to improve it.
The purpose of this research is quality assurance of implementing lectures during the pandemic. Evaluation of students’ learning experiences is necessary to fully understand what influences their approach to learning and the subsequent outcomes. The Deep Learning Approach is expected to continue to be improved through lectures in order to produce Generic Skills for students, and on the contrary, the Surface Learning Approach is reduced. Researchers conducted this research at HKBP Nommensen University of the economics education study program for first- and second-year students who experienced full online learning during the disruption period of the global pandemic. The research type is quantitative descriptive research with survey techniques to be able to describe the experiences and perceptions of students to gain learning outcomes. The Course Experience Questionnaire and Study Process Questionnaire were used in this study. A total of 44 people out of 60 students submitted an online questionnaire that was distributed. Structural Equation Modeling was the main method to process the data in order to provide a more detailed depiction of the relationships between research variables. This study found there was no correlation between Appropriate Workload and intended outcomes. Appropriate Workload related to Good Teaching and Deep Learning Approach. Appropriate Workload could be improved by developing staff competencies to manage the online class. Researchers recommended examining the curriculum and developing the staff’s ability in student-centered learning. In addition, researchers provide the need for further research.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
