This article presents researches conducted at Muaro Jambi high School 5, at Muaro Jambi High School 10, at Jambi City High School 5 and Jambi City High School 10 about the relationship between students' attitudes and learning styles and students' motivations towards physics subject. It can be concluded that attitude indicators, namely is an inquiry attitude indicators in physics have good criteria, attitude adoption indicators scientific has sufficient criteria and for indicators of interest in increasing the time to study has good criteria. Whereas the dominant learning style in the four schools studied was a visual learning style with a percentage of mastery of 46.7%. For students, learning motivation also has a high percentage of 41.4%. There is a relationship between learning styles and attitudes towards physics subjects at the significance of 0.44 and also there is a relationship between motivation and attitudes of students in the four schools studied.
Pandemic Covid-19 requires people to carry out their activities from home, or in other words, online. Likewise, all educational activities are carried out online to avoid and break the pandemic virus's transmission chain. This study examines the effect of students’ perceptions and attitudes on student awareness of doing online assignments due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting learning in education. Learning that initially took place traditionally (face to face) shifted to virtual learning (online learning). The research method uses mixed methods with a sequential explanatory design with a total sample of 312 students of physics education at the University of Jambi. The instruments in this study used questionnaires and interviews. The data will be analyzed using SPSS 21. The research results show that students' perceptions, attitudes, and awareness in carrying out their assignments online are in a good category. This fact shows a significant effect of perceptions and attitudes on students' awareness of doing assignments online. It is evidenced by the effect of 70.5% of students 'perceptions and attitudes on students' awareness of doing assignments online. The remaining 29.5% is influenced by other variables not found in this study.
Purpose: Attitude is expression or response of students regarding learning. Attitudes in the form of expressions of like, dislike or rejecting an object. The purpose of this research is to describe the attitudes of students towards the three attitude indicators at middle school in Jambi Province Indonesia. Research Methods: Type of research is survey research. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire consisting of three indicators with 27 statements and also interviews. The number of students in research samples is 2,815 which are middle school students in Jambi Province, Indonesia Regency. Results: The results of research on three dominant attitude indicators are in the good category. Adoption of scientific attitudes shows a good category with a percentage of 58.4%. The pleasure of learning science is categorized as good with a percentage of 66.3%. Whereas a career in science is categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 41.8%.
