This research carried out blended learning strategy through class action research. The aim of the application of blended learning in class was to encourage the students’ critical thinking skill. The application of blended learning strategy was motivated by evidence that the existing strategy leaved the students passive which entailed in the limited materials as given by the lecturers. Blended learning strategy was expected to develop the lecturers’ instruction in gaining the learning achievement. The subjects of the research covered 35 students of the Accounting Study Program, University of PGRI Madiun. The research was carried out by three-cycles Class Action Research. The data were taken through the learning activities by means of observation guide, and through students’ achievement test. The results showed that the students’ critical thinking skill developed after treatment from 8.4% to 42.2% in the first cycle. In the second cycle, it developed even greater to 92.3%. In the third cycle, the students’ achievement passed the threshold level. The conclusion was then that blended learning was effective in developing the students’ critical thinking skill. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan fokus masalah tentang penerapan strategi blended learning dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Rasionalnya adalah bahwa pembelajaran kovensional dirasakan kurang menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pengetahuan mahasiswa terbatas pada materi yang diajarkan dosen. Penerapan strategi blended learning diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dosen sebagai strategi yang selalu mengikuti perkembangan dunia pendidikan dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 35 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Akuntansi Universitas PGRI Madiun yang menempuh mata kuliah Belajar Pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Data penelitian dibuktikan dari penilaian aktivitas belajar dosen dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi serta hasil belajar yang diukur melalui tes. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dibandingkan sebelum dilakukannya perlakuan (treatment). Dari yang semula 33,8% meningkat sebesar 8,4%, menjadi 42,2% pada siklus-1, meningkat lagi menjadi 71,9% untuk siklus-2, dan pada siklus-3 meningkat menjadi 92,3%. Hasil analisis penerapan blended learning pada siklus ketiga menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup signifikan karena mahasiswa mencapai ketuntasan dalam kegiatan belajarnya. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi blended learning efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
The research aims to know the produce e-learning Microsoft sway based on the local culture and the effectiveness of the implementation of media in accounting and economics learning at Universitas PGRI Madiun. This research was conducted in Accounting Education Study Program and Economic Education Study Program of Universitas PGRI Madiun, uses research and development method. It was started by preliminary study, then continued with media development stage. The media developed was tested in the two study programs. The trial test result was analyzed, then based on the analysis result, the media and instrument were improved. Media that has been improved to be final media then re-implemented in learning in the two study programs. The results of research show that the development of elearning microsoft sway based on local culture and the effectiveness of media implementation in economic and accounting learning at Universitas PGRI Madiun run smoothly and effectively, and give positive impact on learning process. that the learning outcome can be achieved. Research on the effectiveness of the use of technology-based learning media has been conducted by many researchers and the results are significant. The research conducted by Kholifah (2016) showed that the test of the effectiveness of media uses the right side of t test, obtained that the average learning result of the experimental class is 85,03 and the control class is 79,00. By analyzing using t test it found the value of t table < t count that is 3.30> 1.997 then H 0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that learning by using media of learning video based on technology is better than the conventional learning in organizational behavior course. Rianti, et al (2012) stated that students' learning results using internet and e-learning media are better than the conventional learning. Teaching by using internet media and e-learning can be used by the teachers as an alternative learning media. In addition, a study of e-learning focused on web-based learning (Blended Learning) is proved to be able to create the qualified active learning and influence on improving learning results. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh pemahaman pajak, kesadaran wajib pajak, dan sanksi pajak secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak hotel di Sarangan Magetan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi berjumlah 125 wajib pajak. Besar sampel sebanyak 56 wajib pajak yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji instrumen (uji validitas dan reliabilitas), uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) berpengaruh positif pemahaman pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak hotel di Sarangan Magetan, (2) berpengaruh positif kesadaran wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak hotel di Sarangan Magetan, (3) berpengaruh positif sanksi pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak hotel di Sarangan Magetan, (4) berpengaruh secara simultan pemahaman pajak, kesadaran wajib pajak, dan sanksi pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak hotel di Sarangan Magetan.
Madiun City is one of the cities in East Java Province and is known as a city of trade and industry, Madiun community, in general, is a picture of modern society even though it is far from economic development in the capital city. Madiun is a city that has the potential to become an advanced economic center in the city of Madiun. Current conditions indicate that the unemployment rate and the quality of human resources in the city of Madiun are still low. Data from the Manpower Office of the city of Madiun noted that the number of unemployed people in the local area reached 5,700. Besides, people's economic strength has not developed optimally, and the index of public purchasing power is still low. In 2018 data from the Central Bureau of Statistics illustrates that poverty in Madiun City reached 4.49% or as many as 7.92 thousand people. One way to alleviate poverty in the city of Madiun is through community-based economic empowerment. This study aims to formulate a strategy to alleviate poverty through community-based economic empowerment and to improve the living standards of people in the city of Madiun. The method used in this study is qualitative by using primary and secondary data. Data collection is done by interviews, documentation, and field observations. The findings of the study are that the existence of community-based economic empowerment in Madiun city can increase economic income and increase the community's insight into becoming more open to the economy of the community, as well as the newly formed community. The efforts of fostering and empowering have been carried out by the government and the local community through business dissemination, small and medium industry counseling, strengthening community participation in training, and providing community training, namely how to build a robust community, management training, and marketing system training.
