El objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar y analizar las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario para Evaluar la Efectividad de los Equipos de Trabajo (IET). Se realizaron las siguientes fases: desarrollo de la versión preliminar del inventario con base en el modelo IMOI (Inputs-Mediators-Outputs-Inputs), validación de la prueba y análisis de sus propiedades psicométricas. La muestra total estuvo compuesta por 286 empleados de organizaciones de Bogotá, 211 mujeres (73%) con edades comprendidas entre los 22 y los 66 años (M=33.1 y D.E.=9.9) y 75 hombres entre los 18 y los 68 años (M=32 y D.E.=11.3). El IET está formado por 46 ítems en su versión definitiva para la medida de tres dimensiones teóricas y distinguiéndose en cada dimensión los siguientes factores: en la dimensión insumos: liderazgo (7 ítems), trabajo en equipo (6 ítems) y, clima y cultura organizacional (5 ítems); en la dimensión mediadores: procesos de acción y transición (6 ítems) y clima de equipo (4 ítems) y, por último, en la dimensión resultados a nivel grupal y organizacional (15 ítems), y reconocimientos y recompensas (3 ítems). Se concluye que el IET posee una adecuada confiabilidad y evidencia de validez de contenido y constructo.
La literatura científica ha reportado resultados importantes sobre el papel del capital psicológico como antecedente, consecuente, mediador o moderador de variables del comportamiento organizacional. Partiendo de la necesidad de instrumentos de medida adecuados para cada población, el objetivo de esta investigación es presentar un análisis de las propiedades psicométricas del Ipsicap-24. En el estudio participaron tres muestras de trabajadores colombianos provenientes de organizaciones de varios sectores de la economía y caracterización sociodemográfica variada. Con datos de la primera muestra (N = 1517), dividida aleatoriamente en dos partes, se realizaron Análisis Factorial Exploratorio y Confirmatorio, así el Ipsicap original de 36 ítems dio origen al Ipsicap-24, conformado por cuatro escalas: esperanza (7 ítems), optimismo (7 ítems), resiliencia (6 ítems) y autoeficacia (4 ítems). Para obtener evidencia de validez convergente y divergente del Ipsicap-24, respectivamente, la segunda muestra (N = 428) respondió el Cuestionario Utrecht Work Engagement (UWES); y la tercera muestra (N = 105), el Cuestionario General de Salud (General Health Questionnaire, GHQ-28). Los resultados obtenidos aportan evidencia de consistencia interna y validez de constructo para el Ipsicap-24. Esta nueva herramienta permite la evaluación válida y confiable del capital psicológico en trabajadores colombianos.
Desafíos en la formación de psicólogos de las organizaciones y el trabajo es un libro que mueve al lector hacia la radicalización de la reflexividad, como diría Anthony Giddens, y hacia la posibilidad de enfrentar el mundo por medio de la construcción de nuevas formas de pensar y actuar, saliendo de una POT enraizada en el siglo XX, para entrar en una POT dirigida hacia el siglo XXI, sin la pretensión ni la ingenuidad de pensar que ahora todo es diferente. ¿Podríamos, tal vez, hablar de una continuidad con rupturas y fisuras? Nuevas demandas del mundo del trabajo, la rivalidad paradigmática generadora de deformación de la identidad de carrera en POT, la investigación, la producción y las prácticas como estrategias de formación; la cuestión de la inclusión social, la formación como productora de subjetividades, los antagonismos y las interfaces con el coaching, el papel del sindicato, la emergencia de la psicología positiva, entre otras cuestiones, constituyen algunos temas abordados en este libro.
