Objetivo: Identificar o impacto da Síndrome de Burnout (SB) na qualidade de vida dos profissionais de enfermagem da Atenção Básica à Saúde. Métodos: Estudo exploratório e descritivo, com caráter quanti-qualitativo, desenvolvido com 52 profissionais da Rede de Atenção Básica à Saúde da Cidade de Bayeux, região metropolitana de João Pessoa-PB. Resultados: 13,5% das profissionais estudadas manifestaram características relacionadas à SB e 30,8% apresentaram predisposição para o desenvolvimento da mesma. Conclusão: O profissional acometido pela SB tende a apresentar diminuição em seu rendimento de trabalho e dificuldades na relação com a equipe de trabalho, refletindo o impacto negativo que a síndrome traz para a qualidade de vida. The Surgical Center is a restricted environment of high complexity, where the professionals who work in it deal with exhausting activities, as well as complex and unexpected situations, which are potential physical and psychological stressors, and can interfere in the quality of life. This is an exploratory, descriptive, quantitative qualitative approach, with the objective of analyzing the workload of nursing professionals working at the Surgical Center and the repercussions on the quality of life, submitted and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Health Sciences Center of the Federal University of Paraíba (CCS/UFPB), according to the protocol n° 0156/16, CAAE: 55298616.3.0000.5188. The sample consisted of 15 nurses of both sexes who work in a Philanthropic Hospital located in the municipality of João Pessoa/PB. A questionnaire was applied to characterize the participants' profile, an interview script with data related to work overload and WHOQOL-Bref. It was found that 80% of the participants were women; the average age was 37.8 years. In the sample, 60% were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with their quality of life, and 33% stated they were dissatisfied with their quality of health. Objective: Evaluating the quality of life of the elderly living with HIV/ AIDS through HAT_QoL; and characterizing the population in terms of sociodemographic and clinical data.Methods: Cross-sectional study conducted in a specialized service clinic in the care of people living with HIV/AIDS in Paraiba. The sample was consisted by 30 people over the 60 years old living with HIV/AIDS. Data collection was conducted in July 2014 by the HAT-QoL form. Data were tabulated on an electronic spreadsheet, using the double entry technique and then analyzed through the software Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 22.0.Results: Most of the population is male, single, between the ages of 60 and 63 years, low income and education, acquired HIV/AIDS through heterosexual contact, the quality of life was considered "good" or "very good" according to domains analyzed; observed commitment regarding the domains "sigils", "financial concern" and "sexual activity".

Introduction: The desire for a child is also a characteristic feeling of man throughout his life. However, when a premature and/or risk birth occur, require specialized care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, parents are surprised by many difficult feelings to overcome.Objective: To understand the paternal experience during hospitalization of their child in the neonatal intensive care unit.Method: This is an exploratory-descriptive study of qualitative approach, carried out in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a university hospital in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, through interviews, from a semi-structured instrument. It was submitted to the Content Analysis Technique, mode of cross-thematic analysis for analysis of the data.

Objective: Analyze the Burnout Syndrome on Health Community Agents in the nursing context, based on online periodicals. Method:We have addressed an integral revision of the literature.The data was collected between March and October of 2015 on the LILACS and BDENF databases.Results: 6 articles were composed with this study samples, emerging into the development of two thematic categories: 1) ACS ways of sickness; 2) Confront strategies by the Health Community Agents. Conclusion:The forms of sickness experienced by the agents cannot be modified or avoided since they represent essential aspects of this professional performance. In order to face this problem, it seems to exist an unfamiliarity, by this professional category, of the large number of activities that can be developed with the objective of decreasing the stress of the work process.

Objective: Characterize the socio-demographic conditions of nursing professors, evaluate the burnout syndrome, check the perception of quality of life, and analyze the quality of life of these professionals according to the physical, psychological, social relationships, and environment.Method: This is a study of exploratory, descriptive and quantitative approach, which analyzed 35 professors of a nursing course. For this it was used the CESQT and the WHOQOL-BREF tools. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.Results: 4 professors were identified (11.43%) with high level, 9 (25.71%) with an medium level, 15 (42.86%) with low, and 6 (17.14%) with very low symptoms of burnout. The quality of life, their perception about it, and satisfaction with health were classified as regular.
