Objective: Evaluating the quality of life of the elderly living with HIV/ AIDS through HAT_QoL; and characterizing the population in terms of sociodemographic and clinical data.Methods: Cross-sectional study conducted in a specialized service clinic in the care of people living with HIV/AIDS in Paraiba. The sample was consisted by 30 people over the 60 years old living with HIV/AIDS. Data collection was conducted in July 2014 by the HAT-QoL form. Data were tabulated on an electronic spreadsheet, using the double entry technique and then analyzed through the software Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 22.0.Results: Most of the population is male, single, between the ages of 60 and 63 years, low income and education, acquired HIV/AIDS through heterosexual contact, the quality of life was considered "good" or "very good" according to domains analyzed; observed commitment regarding the domains "sigils", "financial concern" and "sexual activity".
Introduction: The desire for a child is also a characteristic feeling of man throughout his life. However, when a premature and/or risk birth occur, require specialized care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, parents are surprised by many difficult feelings to overcome.Objective: To understand the paternal experience during hospitalization of their child in the neonatal intensive care unit.Method: This is an exploratory-descriptive study of qualitative approach, carried out in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a university hospital in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, through interviews, from a semi-structured instrument. It was submitted to the Content Analysis Technique, mode of cross-thematic analysis for analysis of the data.
Objetivou-se analisar a vivência de cuidadores de crianças com a síndrome congênita do Zika, no contexto familiar e social. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo com dez cuidadoras de crianças com síndrome congênita do Zika vírus, em um serviço pernambucano de referência à criança com deficiência, realizado no período de novembro de 2018 a março de 2019. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e interpretados pela análise temática. As cuidadoras, principalmente mães, dedicam-se integralmente aos cuidados do filho com a síndrome; enfrentam lutas diárias em busca de melhores condições de vida; abdicam de sonhos, emprego e estudos; e enfrentam dificuldades financeiras e no cuidado a outros filhos. Assim, são necessárias ações de saúde focadas na singularidade das famílias para viabilizar a oferta e/ou fortalecimento de redes de apoio e ampliar as possibilidades para melhores condições de vida das mulheres e de seus filhos com a síndrome.
A Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF) é um dos principais pilares para a organização da Atenção Primária à Saúde no Brasil e vem se tornando um dispositivo importante na produção do cuidado em Saúde Mental. O estudo teve como objetivo conhecer a produção do cuidado em saúde mental por Equipes de Saúde da Família em Recife, capital do estado de Pernambuco, região nordeste do Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa. Participaram do estudo 116 enfermeiros da ESF através de um questionário online e 11 trabalhadores de três equipes de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família que participaram de uma entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados foram analisados por meio da Análise de Conteúdo, modalidade temática, proposta por Bardin. Evidenciou-se que as principais ações em saúde mental relatadas pelos participantes foram: consultas médicas, tratamento medicamentoso, grupos terapêuticos e visitas domiciliares. Entre as potencialidades no cuidado em saúde mental na atenção primária destacaram-se o apoio matricial, o projeto terapêutico singular, a criação de vínculos e as práticas integrativas e complementares. Observaram-se como fragilidades a restrita oferta de educação permanente e a desarticulação da Rede de Atenção Psicossocial. Concluiu-se que a ESF contribui para a produção do cuidado em saúde mental desenvolvida na realidade estudada e aproxima-se de práticas em saúde mental de base territorial e comunitária, representando uma ruptura no modelo manicomial. Ademais, constatou-se que as ações acolhedoras qualificam a relação profissional-usuário.
