In 2013 there has been 34 incidents of landslides which cut the roads linking between Gowa and Sinjai off. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the stage of weathering of landslide in the study area. Methods used in this study are field survey, petrographic analysis, XRD analysis and shear strength testing of rock. Field survey results indicates that the area is dominated by tuffs that are partly volcanic breccia and lava. Petrographic analysis, showing the dominant composition of tuff with volcanic glass, bitownite, pyroxene and opaque minerals, and XRD analysis results indicate weathering tuffs that have experienced high and completely weathered contain smectite and halloysite clay types, and insitu shear strength test results indicate a strong shift to the lower tuff with high stage of weathering. This research is a study to explore the transformation preferences of modes of private transport (four-wheeled and two-wheeled) based on travel characteristics and user behavior. The design of the analysis approach consists of descriptive statistical method to obtain the travel characteristics and behavior of private transport user in terms of travel costs, vehicle operating costs, mileage and travel time, accessibility, mobility, service. It also uses Partial Least Square (PLS) SEM modeling to obtain the interactive travel characteristics of private transport preferences, public transport services quality to modes of transformation. From the results based on data analysis, it is found out that the travel characteristics of the commuters for private transport users with variable indicators of mileage and travel time is expected to affect the determination of modes of transport that is fast and time-efficient. In the case of private transport preferences, most respondents think that the prestige and traffic culture factor in using the modes of private transport have less impact. Next, for prestige factor in using public transport, most respondents think that it has less impact on the public transport service quality. Then for the transformation of modes of travel, the private transport users prioritize more on travel time, waiting time and total rate factor to be willing to move to modes of public transport which is also followed by other factors.
Pentingnya transportasi dengan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan jasa angkutan bagi mobilitas orang serta barang dari suatu tanah air bahkan keseluruh dunia, Dengan peningkatan pembangunan transportasi dan meningkatnya aksesibilitas perkotaan akan dapat memperbaiki perekonomian di suatu daerah/wilayah. Transportasi angkutan kota di Makassar tidak memperhatikan kenyamnan dan keamanan pengguna kendaraan, sehingga banyak keluhan-keluhan yang dirasakan oleh pengguna kendaraan kota yang disebabkan tata kursi yang tidak bernilai ergonomis. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis penyebab keluhan-keluhan yang dirasakan penggunan terhadap kenyamanan utilitas kendaraan umum, kedua mengkaji kenyamnan utilitas kendaraan kota yang ergonomis. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah pengukuran dimensi tubuh pada penumpang serta penggunaan kuesioner lalu dianalisis dengan pendekatan ergonomis. Hasil penelitian Penyebab-penyebab keluhan-keluhan yang dirasakan oleh pengguna kendaraan umum karena fungsi alat belum optimal adapun lima keluhan yang dirasakan adalah pertama sakit pada pantat, sakit pada bokong, sakit pada pinggang, sakit pada punggung, dan kelima sakit pada lutut kanan dan kiri. Tingkat kenyamanan utilitas kendaraan pada tata kursi kendaraan umum diperoleh lebar kursi dengan persentil 95% adalah 36,21 cm, tinggi kursi 44,45 cm, dan tinggi sandaran 29,84 cm.
Abstract. This study aims to assess the vulnerability of road pavement damage using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, including the direction of handling pavement road damage. Assessment of the level of road surface damage is based on the type of damage, the degree of damage, and amount of damage. Field observations and surveys were conducted on several Collector roads in Kendari. The mean PCI score as an indicator of damage to the Mokodompit road segment shows moderate damage conditions with a mean the value PCIaverage = 53 and surface damage area = 34.419% and the countermeasures according to the Bina Marga Standard recommend patching and adding pavement layers. Assessment of vulnerabilities Manunggal road damage indicates moderate damage to the value PCIaverage = 49 With the extent of surface damage = 34,419% and the response according to Standard by filling a crack with a mixture of liquid asphalt and sand.
