The purpose of the research is to identify four factors that are consider to influence dowry (sinamot) in Batak Toba traditional marriage (traditional wedding) before the Covid-19 pandemic in Medan. The sample research is purposive sampling namely the parents of the groom as the providers of sinamot and financing their son’s traditional wedding. The sample method is non probability sampling, that is an accidental sampling with 40 families. Besides other the groom family (paranak), other sources of additional information are raja parhata because they can provide general information for the independent factors on sinamot. The factors considered in this research as independent variabales consist of upa tulang, number of ulos from the bride family (parboru) and two dummy variables that are job status and level education of the bride. The data is tabulated and then analyzed by multiple linear regression. The research show that four variables have a positive effect on the dowry. This is accordance with economic criteria show that upa tulang, number of ulos, job status of the bride and level education of the bride have positive effect on the sinamot. However based on partial test (t - test) only two variables have positive significant on the dowry namely upa tulang and job status of the bride. But based on simultaneous test (F-test) the four factors simultaneously effects on the dowry. Coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,846 and R square adjusted is 0,828 which means 4 independent variables are able to explain the variation of the dowry between 82,8 to 84,6 percent.

Solusi alternatif terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi guru-guru di SD Negeri 064020 Medan, setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi pengetahuan tentang implementasi kurikulum merdeka berdasarkan pengenalan platform merdeka mengajar diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta dapat menerapkan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah tersebut dengan mensosialisasikan kepada guru-guru SD Negeri 064020 Medan. Setelah sosialisasi dilakukan kepada guru-guru SD Negeri 064020 Medan maka tim pengusul akan melakukan evaluasi dengan cara memberikan tugas dan angket kepada guru-guru di SD Negeri 064020 Medan untuk diisi apakah hasil dari sosialisasi sudah memenuhi solusi yang diharapkan dari masalah guru-guru SD negeri 064020 Medan.
Migration of the Toba Batak people to Medan began at the end of the 19th century, but the flow of migration up to independence was relatively slow. However, after independence it increased so that in 1981, 1988 and 2000 it became the second order. Of course, the reason for the transfer can be different in terms of push factors and pull factors. The purpose of this research is to find out the causal factors why the Toba Batak people entered Medan since several decades ago until the era of autonomy. The research was conducted in five districts from March to August 2022. Sampling was carried out by accidental sampling and snowball sampling with a total of 200 families as respondents. All respondents were born in North Tapanuli Regency who came to Medan in the 1950-2000 period. The results of the study show that the two main factors causing the displacement are educational reasons in the first place and economic reasons in the second place. In contrast, in previous studies, economic reasons were in first place while educational reasons were in second place. The conclusion from this research is that in the era of autonomy and the era of tourism development, the potential for Lake Toba and the surrounding area to become a very valuable asset to realize the expectations of the central government, namely to make Lake Toba a national and foreign tourist destination.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik melalui metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian memberikan soal uraian dan isian singkat pada pretest-posttest kepada peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Gasing Kabupaten Landak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah t-test dan independent sample test. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa kreativitas keterampilan menulis peserta didik melalui metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan, hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata post test yang diperoleh peserta didik dengan skor 81.83. Hasil ini diperkuat pada uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5% atau 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa thitung > ttabel.(2.09302 > 1.961). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran melalui Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kreativitas keterampilan menulis peserta didik pada pembelajarn IPA dengan materi pembelajara sistem pencernaan makanan pada manusia kelas V di SDN 28 Gasing Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak Tahun Pelajaran 2022-2023
Investments can be made in various types in the financial market. Some of them are gold, stock, foreign exchange and deposit investments. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is very difficult to make profitable and safe investments. This research was conducted to determine which types of investments are safe to do during the COVID-19 pandemic. By using the Kruskal Wallis test, which is non-parametric statistics, which is an alternative to the one-way ANOVA test that can be used if the sample is not normally distributed. From the results of the Kruskal Wallis Test, it was found that the most profitable type of investment in the financial market during the covid-19 pandemic was stock investment and the results of statistical tests showed that there were significant differences that were profitable from the types of investments in gold, stocks, and foreign exchange.
The aim of this study is to describe the tradition of ulos holong, that the offering of ulos for bride/groom in every Toba Batak wedding ceremony in Medan, creates an economic impact on the bridegroom. The research was carried out in three sub-districts in two stages of time, that is September 2019 – February 2020 (before the Covid-19 pandemic) and September 2020 to February 2021 (during the Covid-19 pandemic). The sampling method was carried out by accidental sampling by selecting 30 families at each stage of the study. The results showed that all respondents sold most of the received ulos because the utility or use value of the ulos for bride and grooms was very limited. This is a practical and rational choice because the proceeds from the sale (cash) are more useful than ulos, especially in the short term. Meanwhile, implementing ulos tinonun sadari can also be a more practical and economical option as a substitute for ulos holong. However, because ulos holong is still maintained, so that from opportunity cost approach, this tradition has still an economic impact on the bride and groom. The value is the difference between the value of the ulos tinonun sadari which should be received by the bride/grooms from the proceeds of the sale of ulos holong. So, by maintaining the ulos holong tradition, the bride and grooms “lose income” several million rupiah for each traditional wedding ceremony. The value is greater before the pandemic period than during the pandemic.
This study aims to find out the relationship of jigsaw-type cooperative learning model with student learning outcomes on the concept of opportunity in grade XI SMK Muhammadiyah Ambon The type of research used is correlational quantitative, namely research. The sample in this study amounted to 28 people. The instruments used are tests and questionnaires. Tests are used to determine student learning outcomes and questionnaires are used to determine students' responses to jigsaw-type cooperative learning models. Data analysis techniques used are Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between jigsaw-type cooperative learning models and students' learning outcomes in the opportunity material in smk Muhammadiyah Ambon class. Hypothetical test results using correlation test Products moment obtained r of 0.8374. While the conversion result based on the table of distribution of rtable value is obtained rtabel value at the level of 5 percent which is 0.374
Learning mathematics at Muhammadiyah Ambon Junior High School tends to be monotonous and does not motivate students. The teacher in his learning only conveys the material he teaches, regardless of the level of understanding of the student. One of the better ways that can encourage students to be actively involved in finding concepts in the teaching and learning process is to do learning using a spiral approach. With a spiral approach in teaching and learning activities oriented to students. The learning process starts from the easy and concrete and goes into the difficult or abstract. That way, it will train the mindset of students in solving every problem in the world of mathematics. This research aims to find out the differences in student learning outcomes between students who are taught using the spiral method and the teaching method of the concept of class VII of Muhammadiyah Ambon Junior High School. The type of research used is quantitative with a sample of 56 people consisting of a control class of 28 people and an experimental class of 28 people. The instruments used are tests and observations. Tests are used to determine the learning outcomes of students who are taught using lecture methods and spiral and observation methods are used to find out the learning conditions that take place. The data analysis technique used is to use two-party t-tests. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained that there were differences in student learning outcomes between students who were taught using spiral methods and lecture methods of the concept of class VII of Muhammadiyah Ambon Junior High School. The results are based on the results of hypothesis testing conducted using the t-test with the result of thitung obtained a value of 7.024. While the conversion result based on the t value distribution table is in the two-party test with db = 54, obtained a ttabel value of 2,000. In other words it can be said that –ttable ≤ tvalue > ttable or -2,000≤ 7,024 > 2,000
