O crescente aumento de consumo energético em edificações é uma questão preocupante. O modo como as edificações se comportam em relação ao clima em que estão inseridas é importante no seu consumo final, e assim, diretrizes iniciais de projeto voltadas ao seu comportamento térmico podem reduzir boa parte do consumo durante a operação. Isso porque essas diretrizes visam otimizar o desempenho das edificações, minimizando o uso de equipamentos de resfriamento para garantir o conforto dos usuários. No entanto, essas análises de desempenho térmico são realizadas com o projeto já consolidado, dificultando o alcance de bons níveis de desempenho e sem grande margem de alteração de projeto com este foco. Visando unir o processo a essas análises, o objetivo deste trabalho é o levantamento de dados sobre o processo de projeto de arquitetos para compreender quais parâmetros de desempenho já são considerados, quais outros poderiam ser incorporados, e quais as fases de maior relevância do ponto de vista térmico. Percebeu-se que os participantes deste estudo, apesar de considerarem relevante a avaliação de critérios como insolação e ventilação natural na concepção de projeto, o fazem com métodos pouco precisos. Além disso, evidenciou-se o desconhecimento de aspectos importantes, como a NBR 15575, a etiqueta de eficiência energética e o uso de simulações computacionais. Portanto, propõe-se uma estrutura de trabalho integrando as respostas sobre definições de projeto com os critérios de análise de desempenho. O desenvolvimento de uma estrutura de trabalho permitirá futuros experimentos de inserção de simulações no processo de projeto para validação.
O objetivo deste estudo é comparar os resultados de carga térmica de resfriamento obtidos pelo metamodelo e por simulação com base na INI-C. Foram consideradas seis edificações de escritório, quatro variações da envoltória, e oito cidades. No total, foram realizadas 120 simulações e 120 análises pelo metamodelo. Notou-se que o nível de exposição da envoltória da edificação, o clima, e o tipo de material utilizado na envoltória podem ter comportamentos distintos ao comparar os resultados de simulação e de metamodelo.
O estudo avalia o uso do isolamento térmico na cobertura de uma edificação unifamiliar, em São Paulo, considerando 9 tipos de cobertura e 3 absortâncias. Com base na NBR 15575, o comparativo de desempenho térmico se dá pela carga térmica, percentual de horas dentro da faixa de temperatura (PHFT), temperatura operativa máxima e mínima utilizando simulação com o EnergyPlus. As melhores soluções foram baixas absortâncias e isolamento na cobertura. Porém, o isolamento demasiado não trouxe benefícios significativos. Ademais, telhas convencionais aliadas ao isolamento do forro podem ter desempenho térmico similar ao de telha sanduíche, e ainda, podem ter melhor custo-benefício.
A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a interação do ser humano com ambientes virtuais no espaço urbano da cidade contemporânea e promover novas diretrizes de intervenção, a fim de melhorar as atmosferas urbanas existentes. Assim, decidiu-se que a intervenção seria uma intervenção híbrida no antigo centro da cidade de Florianópolis, Santa Catarina a fim de unir o espaço físico, o espaço virtual e os usuários, a partir de uma mídia móvel. Para tanto, é realizado um levantamento fenomenológico espacial, bem como um diagnóstico virtual, buscando evidências georreferenciadas de sites de redes sociais. Dessa forma, buscou-se o desenvolvimento de uma aplicação móvel que levasse em consideração as diferentes atmosferas presentes na porção central, bem como o aprimoramento da experiência do usuário no uso e ocupação desse espaço urbano. Isto é baseado em uma metodologia de processo de projeto orientada ao usuário, dividida em cinco estágios de elaboração: estratégia, escopo, estrutura, esqueleto e identidade. Então, é possível verificar a necessidade de uso destas ferramentas a fim de redefinir dinâmicas urbanas a favor de uma sociabilidade coletiva.
