This article describes the effect of training strategy on forehand drills and arm strength on the ability of a forehand drive stroke on tennis. Operationally, the purpose of this research is to know the interaction between forehand drills training strategy and arm strength to the ability of forehand drive on the playing of tennis by observing reality of tennis training pattern of students in Department of Physical Health and Recreational Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Halu Oleo University who programmed a Tennis course in 2018th even semester. Overall this article attempts to describe its analysis by looking at four main factors that control the path of an object that is being struck through the theories stated by Pate, Bruce McClenaghan, & Robert Rotella (1993), as follows: (1) the speed of hitting the object, (2) the angle at which the power of the object, (3) the force of gravity affecting the object that is being hit, and (4) the effect of aerodynamic power. The technique of analysis that is used in this article is by observing the strength factor of basic ability of physical condition. In which, the power component is also one of the biomotoric components that have contributions in improving the components of the overall physical condition.
This study analyzed arm muscle power and energy system measurements that work during a forehand drive on tennis. The strength of the arm and energy system information is known to be processed through several stages, i.e. identification of stimuli, the response selection stage, and the programming stage to the giving instruction of muscle movement. In this case, the player's forehand driveability increased by the strategy of drills forehand flat and forehand topspin training. Exercises are given to both of group whose having similar the strong arm and the weak arm. Qualitative descriptions for measuring forehand drive strokes achievement are conducted to explain the strength of the arm using instrument that has been tested for its validity. This is done by troughs observing each stage treatment type of activities in the implementation of an exercise strategy which tailored the emotion process as a supporter of ability at doing forehand drive. The instruments used to see forehand driveability are designed and developed by the author himself by taking the factors of difficulties and skills possessed, then it is used as the subject of this study. The created instruments refer to the standardized of Hewitt's achievement test instrument presented by Jack E. Hewitt's, which uses numbers from 1 to 5. Furthermore, to do the measures of power for looking the energy systems is exerted by the Estimated Maximum Power Output and Capacity of Three Energy Systems table by Fox et al.
This study aims to determine the impact of target shooting training on the level of passing accuracy in soccer games for students in Junior High School. The research method used an experimental approach using randomized pre-test and post-test. It was conducted at State Junior High School 12 Kendari in December 2020. The sampling technique is random. The sample was 30 students. Data is taken from the test. The instrument used to obtain data in this study is the accuracy pass test. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, pre-test and post-test homogeneity, and t-test. Data analysis concluded that shooting target exercise improved the accuracy of the pass in the soccer game. The study results have implications for an understanding of continuous and consistent training in improving students' abilities, developing various exercises that are by the student's character, and training equipment through multimedia and technology so that the level of passing accuracy remains high quality.
The Olympics is the largest multi-event championship in the world, which is used to show the performance of athletes. Participation in this big event is a matter of pride, especially if the athlete can present a medal for his country. One of Indonesia's mainstay sports to get an Olympic medal is Badminton. Coaching for national badminton athletes has been carried out in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics. During its journey, this coaching needs to be evaluated with a view to determining what activities are in accordance with the objectives. The method used in this evaluation research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using FGD, interviews, observation, and documentation. Subjects were taken purposively, as many as 11 people consisting of: four PP PBSI administrators, three coaches, and four athlete representatives. Based on the results of the context evaluation, it includes: 1) vision and mission; 2) Purpose; 3) Target can be categorized as Good. The input evaluation includes: 1) Trainers, 2) Athletes, and 3) Activity funding is said to be good. Process evaluation includes: 1) coaching 2) competition and 3) relegation is categorized as sufficient. Product evaluation includes: 1) Results and 2) awards for athletes categorized as Good. The obstacle found is the lack of utilization of sports science and technology which is a major part of the coaching process. The results obtained by Indonesian badminton athletes at the Tokyo Olympics were 1 gold in women's doubles and 1 bronze in men's singles.
This study aims to determine the relationship between wrist flexibility and forehand smash ability in table tennis games for male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tongkuno. This research method includes descriptive research using a quantitative correlational design using a correlational design. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling technique, namely the sample was selected with consideration of male gender and who could hit the forehand smash. The population in this study were male students of Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tongkuno totaling 131 people consisting of 91 girls and 40 boys, taking a sample of 40 people. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between wrist flexibility and forehand smash ability in table tennis games for VIII male students of SMP Negeri 1 Tongkuno?. The instrument used to measure the wrist flexibility test is the goniometer test, while the instrument used to measure the forehand smash ability test is by hitting the forehand smash 10 times per student. The data of this study were analyzed using SPSS version 26 with a significant level of 0.05 where the value of rxy = 0.646 at a significant 0.00 <0.05 with a coefficient of determination of 41.7%, while 58.3% was influenced by other physical condition factors that were not included in this study. It can be concluded that the better the wrist flexibility, the better the forehand smash ability in the table tennis game for the eighth grade male students of SMP Negeri 1 Tongkuno.
