<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This research aims to produced speaking teaching materials for BIPA students in novice high level. The development model used is Borg and Gall development model. The result of the development is the teaching material developed have three characteristics, namely the topics in the teaching material according to the needs of BIPA students in novice high level, the speaking material is based on language functions for verbal communication needs, and the level of Indonesian difficulty is adjusted to skills of the BIPA students in novice high level. Based on the validation, it is concluded that the teaching material produced is worthy because it matches the characteristics of BIPA students in novice high level.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar berbicara untuk pelajar BIPA tingkat pemula tinggi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki tiga karakteristik, yaitu topik-topik yang terdapat dalam bahan ajar ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelajar BIPA tingkat pemula tinggi materi berbicara didasarkan pada fungsi bahasa untuk kebutuhan berkomunikasi lisan, dan tingkat kesulitan bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan tingkat kemahiran pelajar BIPA pemula tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi pakar dan praktisi BIPA dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dihasilkan cukup layak karena sesuai dengan karakteristik pelajar BIPA tingkat pemula tinggi.

Data analysis of this study was carried out using correlation techniques. The data collection process is done using critical thinking test instruments and test instruments writing editorial texts. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between critical thinking skills and the ability to write editorial texts at a significance level of 0,000. That is, one of the determinants of the success of writing editorial texts is that students must have high critical thinking skills.</p><p class="Default"><strong>A</strong><strong>bstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Analisis data penelitan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi. Adapun proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berpikir kritis dan instrumen tes menulis teks editorial. Hubungan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi <em>Pearson P</em><em>roduct </em><em>M</em><em>oment.</em><em> </em>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan<em> </em>bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan menulis teks editorial pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. Artinya, salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan menulis teks editorial adalah siswa harus memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>
<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran penyuntingan melalui aplikasi “Sunting Pintar”. Aplikasi tersebut merupakan laman interaktif yang digunakan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran penyuntingan. Laman terdiri atas tiga portal, yaitu admin (dosen), editor (mahasiswa), dan pengguna (masyarakat). Metode penelitian menggunakan <em>constructivist instructional design</em> yang terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu <em>define, design, development, </em>dan <em>dissemination</em>. Produk divalidasi oleh ahli bahasa dan praktisi untuk mengukur kelayakan dan kemudian diujicobakan pada mahasiswa. Responden uji coba sebanyak 30 mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Penyuntingan dan 10 mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Melayu, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba, maka disimpulkan bahwa produk berada pada kategori layak untuk diimplementasikan dengan memperhatikan saran dari validator terkait penambahan konten materi penyuntingan dan ilustrasi gambar dalam aplikasi.</p><p> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The purpose of this research was to develop editing learning media through the "Sunting Pintar" application. The application was an interactive page that was used by lecturers and students in learning editing. The page consists of three portals, namely admin (lecturer), editor (student), and user (community). This research method used constructivist instructional design which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The product was validated by linguists and practitioners to measure feasibility and then piloted on students. The trial respondents were 30 students who took the Editing course and 10 students of the Malay Language Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the validation and testing, it was concluded that the product was in a feasible category to be implemented by taking into account the suggestions from the validator regarding the addition of editing material content and image illustrations in the application.</em></p>
