Beim zusammengesetzten optischen Test für die alkalische Phosphatase l in Rattennieren-Partikeln zeigte sich, daß NADH fortlaufend seine Oxydierbarkeit durch das Hilf ssystem Lactatdehydrogenase * + Pyruvat einbüßt. Dabei tritt keine Änderung der NADH-Absorption bei 340 bzw. 366 & ein. Diese Reaktion wird durch eine ungewöhnlich aktive Dinucleotid-Pyrophosphatase der Rattennieren-Partikeln katalysiert; wegen der Bedeutung dieses Enzyms als Störfaktor bei optischen Testen haben wir seine Eigenschaften näher untersucht.Die Produkte der NADH-Spaltung sind zur Bilanzierung der Dinucleotid-Pyrophosphatase-Wirkung abgetrennt und charakterisiert worden. Dabei wurde auch das Coenzymverhalten von Dihydronicotinamid-mononucleotid und Dihydronicotinamid-ribosid sowie das ihrer Oxydationsprodukte gegenüber Pferdeleber-Alkoholdehydrogenase ++ geprüft. Über diese Versuche wird nachstehend berichtet.
