Considering the actual roughness dimensions as well as the typical dimensions of a hydrodynamically lubricating film, the Stokes equations are used to analyze the roughness effects. The surface profile is modeled by an ergodic, stationary random process. It is revealed that the roughness effects can be determined by three parameters; viz., the rms roughness, the correlation length, and the correlation wavelength. The present results are significantly different from those in the literature, where the Reynolds equation is used for analysis.
Augmented reality (AR) has started to become popular in our daily life, such as head up display, gaming, house decoration, and many other applications under exploration. Transparent AMOLED is regarded as one of best display technologies for AR applications. In this paper, a highly transparent 13 inch 100 PPI AMOLED was developed for this purpose. Through optimization of TFT array layer stack, OLED cathode pattern and encapsulation structure, 68% transmittance, low reflectance and low yellow index were achieved. With this highly transparent AMOLED, many AR applications can be realized in the future.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
