Based on the situation and need analysis, it was found out that the community needs capacity building on three areas related to housekeeping services namely: room cleaning, decoration, and SPA. To meet the community's need for decoration, a short training program on flower arrangements of traditional and modern combinations was designed and then implemented. The method used in collecting data were observation and structured interviews. Meanwhile, the methods used in the training session were: demonstration and group work. The result of the evaluation shows that the participants were enthusiastic in following the training and at the end of the training session are able to make flower arrangements using a combination of traditional and modern style. To maintain the skills derived from the training session, the participants need to keep practicing the skills whenever possible.
