Este artículo presenta en primer lugar una lectura de los indicadores socioeconómicos de la ciudad, que permitan argumentar la hipótesis de la importancia de nuevas formas de organización asociativa como alternativa para lograr un desarrollo económico inclusivo. Posteriormente se hace referencia a algunos elementos de la primera experiencia asociativa en la ciudad y que marcó un hito en cuanto a procesos organizativos en el sector metalmecánico de la pequeña y mediana empresa; y a partir de allí se reflexiona sobre la importancia de articular procesos formativos de asociatividad a la formulación, promoción y consolidación de una política de inclusión productiva, que impacte realmente en la dinámica económica y el contexto local.
En la ciudad ia asociatividad como estrategia competitiva en el desarrollo local ya inició el camino; incidiendo sobre procesos sociales tales como la organización, la participación, la cooperación, la competencia entre los actores, para este caso del sector económico local; estos aspectos se constituyen hoy y en el futuro, como elementos básicos a fortalecer para el desarrollo de la sociedad cartagenera.Los datos aquí registrados enmarcan aspectos particulares tales como: contexto en el que surgen las experienciias, motivos de constitución, estructura socio-administrativa y logros alcanzados en las dos asociaciones objeto de estudio, del provecto de investigación que da lugar a este articulo: destacándose las fortalezas que se han visibilizado para así lograr que la asociatividad como estrategia competitiva sea un factor dinámico para la multiplicación de este tipo de experienciasen la ciudad.
ResumenEl tema ético es ampliamente debatido hoy en eventos, textos, intervenciones y formación en trabajo social. Tales debates se relacionan con su sentido y derivaciones teórico-metodológicas para el accionar y la formación profesional, en un contexto de crisis como el actual y frente a las demandas emergentes de derechos sociales. En tal sentido, se escuchan voces referidas a reconocer ampliamente los desafíos profesionales que significan las nuevas realidades sociales, pero también a develar los fundamentos ético-teóricos, para su abordaje. Ello ha implicado redescubrir, para el llamado trabajo social contemporáneo, sus bases éticas como profesión y dilucidar su prospectiva hacia una apertura y afianzamiento, tanto en la sociedad como en las ciencias sociales.En este texto se presenta una constelación conceptual acerca de la autonomía, desde la perspectiva ético-discursiva de Habermas, así como una reflexión sobre los contenidos éticos relacionados con la autonomía que emergen en la intervención y el trabajo social contemporáneo. Para esto se parte de las actuales discusiones éticas en trabajo social, sus resignificaciones, su contexto, su relación con la autonomía profesional y el marco dialógico de esta, llegando a plantear algunos elementos articuladores entre ética, autonomía e intervención social, para una propuesta metodológica de abordaje de la autonomía en la intervención del trabajo social.
El presente artículo es producto de un proceso de investigación adelantado en el Caribe colombiano, específica- mente en el barrio Pescaíto de la ciudad de Santa Marta, Distrito Turístico, Cultural e Histórico. Tiene como propósito generar una reflexión descriptiva acerca de las formas como el espacio barrial significado es recreado como referente turístico alterna- tivo de Santa Marta. Muestra la capacidad inventiva y creativa del pescaitero para configurar unas estrategias de apropiación e interacción del espacio urbano, entendidas como lógicas y sentidos de habitar, representar, actuar y vivir con y en el barrio.
