Mantra yang digunakan masyarakat Jawa merupakan warisan leluhur yang lahir secara lisan. Mantra dianggap memiliki daya magis dalam setiap kata yang menyusunnya. Artikel ini mengulas mengenai variasi deiksis persona dan kekuatan kata yang ditimbulkan dalam komposisi mantra. Deiksis persona yang muncul adalah deiksis persona pertama dan ketiga. Pronomina persona pertama merujuk pada diri si perapal mantra, sedangkan pronomina persona ketiga merujuk pada sasaran, mitra tutur, seseorang yang menjadi panutan, dan sesuatu benda. Tujuan digunakannya variasi deiksis persona dalam sebuah mantra adalah untuk mendapatkan unsur estetis, selain itu pembuat mantra ingin memunculkan adanya daya magis dalam setiap diksinya.
Character education has played an important role in children's psychological growth. Building positive characters during an early age can be a firm commitment to foster education in the subconscious state of mind. Children learn through what they see, hear and experience. Fun learning is inseparable from learning methods and media. The accuracy of learning methods and the use of media can influence the success of a learning process. Shadow puppet media and project-based learning method can indirectly instill character education for children. Aside from being a character-building strategy, the shadow puppet media can be a Javanese language manner-based vocabulary learning strategy. This study aims to improve students' ability to use Javanese language in order to instill education on the first night. The method used is a learning-based project with wayang kulit media. The data in this study are the results of interviews with students of education and teaching and learning activities. Data sources used were events and informants. The analysis technique in this study is comparative descriptive. The conclusions from this study indicate that through project based learning methods with shadow puppet media can improve students' ability to use various Javanese manners in the framework of planting character education in early childhood. Students are able to use Javanese language vocabulary according to the expected level.
<p><em>Wayang (puppet) is one of Javanese culture form which was originally a cult of the local religion. Wayang has a dimension of spirituality that meets cultural aesthetics. This article focuses on how wayang is used as a preaching medium in the context of the spread of Islam, especially on the Java island and the values of virtue found in wayang stories. This research is a type of library research. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The data in this study is in the form of information on the process of Islamization for traditional Javanese people; the information is from books, literature, journals, and newspapers. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. Through analysis of the data, the results obtained are: (1) The names of wayang characters contain Islamic philosophical meanings; (2) The wayang stories modified are packed with deep story themes containing Islamic/divine content; (3) The wayang stories had been modified by Walisanga include virtue religious values, leadership values, and human or social values.</em></p><p><br /><em>Wayang merupakan salah satu wujud budaya masyarakat Jawa yang pada mulanya merupakan pemujaan agama lokal. Wayang memiliki dimensi spiritualitas yang bertemu dengan estetika budaya. Artikel ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana wayang digunakan sebagai media dakwah dalam rangka penyebaran agama Islam khususnya di pulau Jawa dan nilai-nilai keutamaan yang terdapat dalam cerita wayang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi. Data dalam penelitian ini berwujud informasi proses islamisasi masyarakat tradisional Jawa yang berasal dari buku, literatur, jurnal, dan surat kabar. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Melalui analisis data tersebut, diperoleh hasil berupa: (1) Nama-nama tokoh pewayangan mengandung makna filosofis islami; (2) Cerita pewayangan mengalami modifikasi dikemas dengan tema cerita lebet yang memuat konten islami/ketuhanan; (3) Cerita pewayangan yang dimodifikasi para walisanga mengandung nilai keutamaan, yakni: nilai religius, nilai kepemimpinan, dan nilai kemanusiaan atau sosial.</em></p>
The purpose of this study was to describe the the Jamasan Jimat Tradition in Dawuhan village Banyumas as cultural heritage based on Banyumas Society. This Jamasan Jimat tradition is one of the traditions carried out in Dawuhan village, Banyumas district. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The object of the study is the Jamasan Jimat tradition in Dawuhan village Banyumas. Data collecting technique used in the study is through observation, interview and documents analysis. Validity test is carried out through method and data resource triangulation. Data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive technique. The study result shows that the result of Jamasan Jimat procession is believed by Banyumas Society to be able provide an overview of the conditions that would occur for the coming year.
