The purpose of this research is to determine the IT competence, willingness and readiness of students to use distance learning system to fulfill their learning goals. To implement the objectives of the study, we used the results of a students' survey conducted to determine the opinion on the use of information technology as a means to improve the learning process. We concentrated our efforts on a target group of IT students, whose IT background knowledge enabled them to easily master new software tools and technologies. In this paper, the creation, implementation and operation of a distance learning system in DSTU is discussed. Also stated are general requirements for distance learning system and administrative actions that should precede the process of its implementation.Biographical notes: Kateryna Yalova is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computing Software Systems in DSTU. The paper is devoted to utilisation of flipped learning for improving educational quality for IT students. The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of flipped learning, the obstacles for its adoption are also described. The modification of educational functions, roles, actions, and interconnections of the participants during implementation of flipped learning is shown. Flipped learning implementation algorithm is proposed for a university discipline. Uniform architecture for flipped course which consists of face-to-face and online parts is provided. Forms and requirements for e-content are described. Approaches and technologies for implementing the online part of flipped learning are also discussed. Innovative educational technologies which may be useful at the stages of meaning realisation and knowledge reflection as well as for creating professional students’ skills are proposed. The proposed solutions are uniform and formed by generalisation of the knowledge about the data domain, they can be utilised at Ukrainian universities.
В.О. The results of multilayer perceptron neural network development and its using for increasing of the information encryption and decryption speed in the public-key cryptographic system are presented in the article. The results of the El-Hamal cryptosystem on matrix group operation modelling with the use of a neural network and without it are described. Comparison of the El-Hamal cryptosystem encryption and decryption rate is performed. Expediency of the neural network algorithm using for improving cryptosystem speed is substantiated. The average acceleration of information encryption using the neural network is 5%, the average acceleration of information decryption is 11 %.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
