The paper focuses on the analysis of the impact of technical, organizational and human factors on accident rate in small-sized enterprises. The research was carried out using the authors’ questionnaire. The results were verified using the method of direct interview with elements of observation. The results were compared with the trends prevailing in enterprises of EU countries. The respondents, i.e. production company workers, indicate technical factors as those which most significantly affect the occurrence of accidents at work. However, the assessment of the factors changes with the age of the respondents. Older workers, more often than younger employees, indicate the ones related to man or work organization as the most important factors affecting accidents at work and, consequently, the level of occupational safety. The presented results are a part of a larger whole project the authors of this paper are working on.

With a growing percentage of the cans made from aluminium, because of its lightweight qualities, this ensures a healthy market for aluminium can recycling. The main aim of the paper was to show Economic aspects of waste utilization and to present a process of Recycling of the aluminium can. In this way it was possible to show that the concept of renewable material sources is not just a theoretical concept, but the action visible in the economy and very desired by the company due to the reduction of the production costs.
With a growing number of standards and their related requirements for manufacturers and/or service providers, there is a need to simplify their application process. The aim of this article is to propose a simplified implementation of multiple management system standards (MSSs) through visualization management. Results of visualization provide a perspective of interrelatedness of requirements of MSSs, and how they fit in the overall context. The three standards used in this project, defined as a complex triplet of integrated management systems (IMSs), are: Quality (QMS), Environment (EMS) and Event Sustainability (ESMS) Management Standards. Visualization is developed by creating clusters using a program intended for creating small world networks. This step is preceded by the creation of a database in a spreadsheet format for data mining, where the requirements are divided into specific and common ones. The main emphasis will be on facilitating the assessment of synergies. The resulting visualized composed cluster model of selected areas includes the clauses. It is possible to further extend the model by adding other standards, depending on needs of interested parties. In essence, the model is a part of visual process, and it simplifies, speeds up and clarifies managerial decision-making processes related to the implementation of the MSSs.
