Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui keefektifan buku pelajaran tematik-integratif dengan tema “Mari Bermain Sambil Berolahraga” berbasis nilai karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab untuk peserta didik kelas III SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model Brog & Gall. Uji coba produk melibatkan 67 peserta didik kelas III SD 2 Padokan Bantul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku pelajaran yang dikembangkan dari aspek kelayakan isi berkategori “sangat baik”, aspek kebahasaan berkategori “sangat baik”, aspek penyajian berkategori “sangat baik”, dan aspek kegrafikaan berkategori “sangat baik”. Hasil untuk nilai karakter disiplin menunjukkan uji-t= -3,110 dengan P sebesar 0,000 dan nilai karakter tanggung jawab menunjukkan hasil uji-t= -4,440 dengan P sebesar 0,003. Selain itu, nilai hasil belajar menunjukkan 100% peserta didik tuntas dalam pembelajaran. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DEVELOPMENT THEMATIC-INTEGRATIF TEXTBOOKS BASED ON DISCIPLINE AND RESPONSIBILITY VALUES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLABSTRACT This study aims to: produce and determine the effectiveness of thematic-integrative textbooks with the theme of "Let's Play while Exercising" based on discipline and responsibility values. This study is a Research and Development (R & D) with a Brog and Gall model. The tryout involved 67 students of grade III in Padokan Bantul Elementary School 2. This is evidenced by the results of expert evaluation showing the textbooks  developed is terms of the feasibility contents category is "very good", aspects of language category is "very good", aspects of presentation category is "very good", and aspect of grapichlly category is "very good". As for discipline value results of t-test = -3.110 with P values of 0.000 and the value of responsibilities results of t-test = -4.440 with P values 0.003. This research and development study aims to produce models of teaching kits forwriting based on the genre process approach for junior high school students. The procedure employed the R2D2 model, consisting of three main stages, i.e. (1) definition, (2) design and development, and (3) dissemination. The data consisted of qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were analyzed using the domain analysis technique with critical and reflective principles, while the quantitative data were analyzed using t-test with SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The study produces five models, i.e.: (1) a syllabus model, (2) a lesson plan model, (3) a learning materials model, (4) an evaluation instrument model, and (5) a teacher guide model of the teaching of writing. Based on the data analysis, the five models of teaching kits for writing are effective to improve the students’ writing ability.

Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model buku ajar membaca berdasarkan pendekatan proses bagi siswa SMP. Ada tiga tahap dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) pendefinisian; (2) perencanaan dan pengembangan; dan (3) penyebarluasan. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis domain dengan prinsip kritis dan reflektif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model buku ajar membaca telah dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan proses. Buku tersebut terdiri atas tiga bagian, yaitu (1) pendahuluan, (2) bagian isi, dan (3) bagian tambahan. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter di SD, SMP, dan SMA di Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian survei ini mengambil sampel dengan teknik area cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel satu sekolah untuk SD dan SMA dan dua sekolah untuk SMP untuk wilayah Yogyakarta bagian Utara, Selatan, Barat, dan Timur. Instrumen pengum- pul data berupa angket dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut. Menurut pendapat para guru, perencanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah-sekolah Kota Yogyakarta sudah dilakukan dengan cukup baik, tetapi berdasarkan analisis RPP yang dibuat oleh guru, ada beberapa RPP yang belum mengandung nilai-ni- lai target yang akan dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah sudah dipadukan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran. Penilaian pengetahuan dan kemauan untuk meng- aktualisasikan nilai-nilai target pendidikan karakter baru pada sebagian soal-soal yang dibuat guru, sedangkan penilaian perilaku yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai target dilakukan oleh kebanyakan guru hanya dengan wawancara. This research aims to find out the critical discourse analysis in the text of speeches from Nadiem Makarim and Muhadjir Effendy. The speech was chosen because it is one of the objects in Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) is an approach to analyse the relationship between language, ideology, and power. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. The researcher uses the three-dimensional framework by Norman Fairclough in analysing the data of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). In presenting and analyzing the data, the researchers used qualitative data analysis theory from Miles and Huberman (1994) in Gani (2011), consisting of data reduction, data display or representation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The result of this study shows that both the script of speeches from Nadiem Makarim and Muhadjir Effendy have micro, mezzo, and macro-level related to the framework of Norman Fairclough. The language used in both of the speeches is a standard language, but in the speech of Nadiem Makarim used more creative language that can touch the millennial generations, while in the speech of Muhadjir was the usual words that can make the audiences bored.

This study aims to find out the contribution of reading habit, vocabulary mastery, and grammar mastery to the experience writing skill of the 5th grade students of state elementary schools in Bambanglipuro Subdistrict, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study is an ex-post facto using the correlational quantitative research approach. The population comprised all 5th grade students of state elementary schools in Bambanglipuro Subdistrict, Bantul, Yogyakarta totaling 300 students. A sample of 169 students was established using the proportional random sampling technique. The instruments consisted of a test and questionnaire. The test was used to measure the vocabulary mastery, grammar mastery, and experience writing skill. The questionnaire was used to measure reading habit. The data were analyzed using the multiple regression analysis. The results show that there is a significant and positive contribution among reading habit, vocabulary mastery, and grammar mastery to the experience writing skill.

Teaching material is one of the supporting fluency of learning in class. Writing skills are skills that are more difficult than other language skills, such as listening, speaking and reading. The teaching material currently has weaknesses in illustrations and more questions so the explanation of the material is incomplete. The purpose of this research is to find out teaching materials that need to be developed in non-literary text writing skills in Indonesian language lessons for junior high school students in Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 10 Indonesian language teachers in 10 junior high schools in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques are initial observations in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed by collecting, presenting, and concluding. Validity uses data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the language used in teaching materials in schools was quite good, in terms of content, language, presentation, and graphics, as well as communicative. There are many exercises in the questions, but the shortcomings are in the illustrations and explanations of material that are less detailed. The results of the questionnaire analysis of the need to develop teaching materials for nonliterary text writing skills show that Indonesian language teachers need teaching materials for Indonesian non-literary text writing skills that explain more detailed material and are equipped with illustrations that enhance student enthusiasm for learning in class. Based on the research data above, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop teaching materials specifically the skill of writing Indonesian non-text texts in the form of textbooks with certain approaches to facilitate student learning in class. The findings indicate that the need for nonliterary textbooks to improve learning.

This research aims to know the difference in effectiveness between the PBL and DRTA in terms of critical thinking and reading comprehension in elementary school. This study is a quasi experiment research. The subject of research is the elementary school students. The instruments used were the utilization of the test. The data collected is the data of reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. The datawas analyzed with the MANOVA with the assistance of of SPSS program. The results showed that there was a difference inthe effectiveness between the PBL and DRTA. Increased critical thinking skills of second grade experiment was 35.74% for class 1 using PBL and 72.75% to class 2 using DRTA. In regard to the improvement of reading comprehension in the experimental class 1 class with PBL, the result was 42.13% and experimental class 2 with DRTA was 60.65%.
