odities in Indonesia is soybeans. Domestic soybean production is still low so that it can fill the gap in the domestic fever that is possible through imports. Farmers are less interested in planting soybeans because it is less profitable. Technological innovation and increasing farmer motivation to plant soybeans need to be done, one of which is through demonstration plots and farmer training. The research was carried out in Mekar Sari Village, Panimbang District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The study was conducted in the demonstration plot including the introduction of new high yielding varieties. Farmer responses were explored through farmer field day using a questionnaire. The aims of a research is to introduce the technology of dryland soybean cultivation and explore the interest of farmers in developing this technology. the majority of farmers were males with there were 65% of farmers had narrow land area that is ≤ 0,4 ha. Dena 1 variety produced the highest productivity of 1,820.1 kg/h compared to other varieties. The motivation to develop dryland soybean technology is based on the desire to develop more advanced and modern (72.5%), gain insight and knowledge (67.5%) and to develop the regional economy (66.25%).
Land is one of the main factors in rice production. However, the transfer of agricultural land functions to other sectors continues and becomes a challenge in the food supply in Indonesia. Serang City is one of the rice-producing areas in Banten Province. This study aims to analyze changes in the transfer of rice field functions to other sectors by mapping rice field cover using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery in 2021 compared to 2019 with the Random Forest method by using Google Earth Engine (GEE) applications and cloud computing support. The study results showed that the cover of rice fields in Serang City in 2021 decreased by 602.87 ha (-7.20%) compared to 2019 from the total land cover. Land cover in other vegetation was also reduced by 242 ha (-2.45%), while urban land cover in 2021 increased by 781.82 ha (10.89%). This study shows that there has been a change in land transfer in Serang City due to urban expansion in 3 years, as well as that the use of GEE can streamline monitoring of changes in land transfer and land use cover. Keywords: rice field, Google Earth Engine, Sentinel-2
The purpose of this research is to know : The effect of constant range on the pitching slingshot exercise to the pitching softball result. The effect of gradual range on the pitching slingshot exercise to the pitching softball result. The different effect between constant and gradual range of pitching slingshot exercise against the pitching softball exercise. Based on the result of the constant range of pitching slingshot exercise data calculation obtained average score of pretest 7,91 points and posttest 12,91 points with probability value of (p)=0,000 (<0,05) there is efect on constant pitching slingshot exercise. Meanwhile, calculation of gradual pitching slinghsot exercise obtained average score of pretest 7,916 points and posttest 14,333 points with probability (p)=(0,000) (<0,05) there is effect on gradual pitching slingshot exercise. Calculation from both two exercise methods obtained average score of 12,91 points and 14,333 points, there is significant efect difference between the two excercise against the pitching softball result with conclusion on the effect of gradual range is higher with precrntage of 53,46%, while gradual pitching slingshot exercise only obtained 41,66%.Key Word : Pitching Slingshot exercise, Pitching Softball exercise
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
