Users who aim to gain food literacy skills and to gain the knowledge they need to acces safe food can become members of the online community by following content-producing accounts in various social media environments. In this study, which aims to reveal the effect of social media on food literacy, 664k followers and the Instagram Account Food Detective were found to be remarkable. The study was designed by qualitative method and netnography method was applied. In the collection of the data, all three-month shipments of the Food Detective were copied and archived individually.
