Objetivo: Analisar as características das estratégias de enfrentamento ao estresse (coping), e os aspectos sobre o engajamento no trabalho na perspectiva da equipe de enfermagem. Métodos: Configurou-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter exploratório e descritivo. Os dados foram coletados a partir de entrevistas realizadas por meio de questionários com questões semiestruturadas. A pesquisa obteve uma amostra de 250 profissionais da enfermagem de um hospital universitário do Sul do Brasil, de ambos os sexos, com idades entre 23 e 64 anos e tempo de trabalho no hospital de 1 a mais de 20 anos. A análise foi realizada por meio da análise de conteúdo divididas entre categorias pelo método de Bardin (2011). Resultados: Constatou-se que houve a utilização de diferentes formas de enfrentamento para situações estressoras, sendo a procura por profissionais de saúde a mais apontada. Além disso, a maioria expressou engajamento ao trabalho, com destaque para a categoria “comprometimento, dedicação e responsabilidade”. Conclusão: A identificação dessas características pode propiciar auxílio ao entendimento de fenômenos relacionados ao estresse ocupacional e ao engajamento no trabalho. O estudo destacou a relevância de desenvolver programas voltados à avaliação, prevenção e ações de valorização dos trabalhadores e que auxiliem no enfrentamento das situações estressoras.
Os Centros de Atenção Psicossocial para a Infância e Adolescência (CAPSi) são locais que ofertam serviços na atenção secundária, sob a perspectiva da reforma psiquiátrica e seguindo as diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa qualitativa, desenvolvida a partir de um estudo de casos múltiplos, cujo objetivo foi compreender como se estabelece o percurso do cuidado na saúde mental da criança em contexto da atenção secundária. A coleta de dados ocorreu a partir de análise documental e entrevista semiestruturada, e as informações obtidas passaram por análise de conteúdo. Foram identificadas dificuldades na comunicação e no compartilhamento dos casos entre os diferentes níveis de atenção e na construção de um Plano Terapêutico Singular (PTS). Com relação ao desligamento das crianças, observou-se mais encaminhamentos e desistências que processos de alta, resultado que necessita problematização tendo-se em vista a possibilidade de cronificação dos casos.
A mentira é uma afirmação que intenciona enganar outros indivíduos. Algumas mentiras podem não apresentar características antissociais, mas podem ser geradoras de ansiedade tanto quanto as mentiras antissociais. O propósito deste estudo foi determinar a relação entre a ansiedade para situações de mentira mensurada por um instrumento de autorrelato e os traços de personalidade que compõem o modelo dos cinco grandes fatores. A amostra foi constituída de 78 estudantes universitários, sendo 28 homens e 50 mulheres, com idades entre 18 e 26 anos. O fator neuroticismo apresentou uma correlação positiva e significativa com a ansiedade envolvendo as mentiras em relacionamentos pessoais. A amabilidade apresentou uma correlação positiva e significativa com a ansiedade em diferentes situações de mentira. O presente estudo pode gerar dados importantes para a pesquisa sobre a mentira em diferentes contextos. Devido à escassez de trabalhos sobre o tema, entende-se também que esta pesquisa pode favorecer novos trabalhos sobre a assim denominada Psicologia da Mentira.
