La presente investigación se centró en el desarrollo de una metodología para usar la técnica de realidad aumentada (RA) con el fin de crear material didáctico musical que permita la promoción de la autonomía en el aprendizaje del estudiante. Partiendo de esta idea, se analizó y determinó las herramientas tecnológicas con realidad aumentada que facilitaran la creación del material didáctico multimedia (audio, video, imágenes y modelos 3D) para el aprendizaje y montaje de repertorio musical. Seguidamente se creó material didáctico con realidad aumentada, aplicando este material a un grupo experimental con el fin de determinar si existe alguna diferencia entre la implementación de realidad aumentada en la clase de música y el uso del método de enseñanza tradicional. Finalmente se evaluó el impacto a partir de una rúbrica a los dos grupos: control y experimental además de un cuestionario de satisfacción para el grupo experimental, que llegó a determinar las contribuciones del material didáctico en realidad aumentada en el aprendizaje autónomo.
Esta investigación se encaminó hacia la aplicación de tecnologías emergentes como Internet de las cosas, en los procesos educativos con herramientas de software Libre. Se investigó mediante la recolección de material bibliográfico sobre el Internet de las cosas y sus diferentes aplicaciones. Luego de analizar distintas herramientas de software libre disponibles para el uso de Internet de las cosas se seleccionó Node-RED como la solución más idónea para la elaboración de herramientas didácticas. Con esta herramienta de software, acompañada de la placa Raspberry Pi se diseñó un prototipo de laboratorio para la implementación de actividades didácticas que apoyen el aprendizaje en diferentes ámbitos del conocimiento. Se presentó esta propuesta a grupos de estudiantes de pregrado de Ingeniería Industrial e Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Libre de Barranquilla, se concluyó que al combinar el Internet de las cosas y el software libre permiten elaborar material didáctico con fines educativos.
El presente trabajo se desarrolló teniendo en cuenta antecedentes de software libre y propietario. Con ello se pretendía buscar ventajas y desventajas, funciones relacionadas con el uso de plantillas para la creación de contenidos educativos en línea, para así mejorarlas. La idea es apoyar a entidades educativas y a sus profesores en la creación de sus contenidos educativos, buscando que él sea el actor principal en la creación de sus contenidos debido a que no requerirá de conocimientos en lenguajes de programación, minimizando los tiempos de creación de contenidos por medio del uso de plantillas.
