La psoriasis es una enfermedad inflamatoria crónica que produce lesiones cutáneas, en adultos el rango varía de 0.91% a 8.5%, mientras que en niños oscila desde 0% al 2.1%, tiene factores tanto genéticos como ambientales que la pueden producir y está clasificada de leve, moderada a grave. La metodología utilizada para el presente trabajo de investigación, se enmarcada dentro de una revisión bibliográfica de tipo documental, ya que nos vamos a ocupar de temas planteados a nivel teórico como es Actualización terapéutica de la psoriasis. La técnica para la recolección de datos está constituida por materiales electrónicos, estos últimos como Google Académico, PubMed, entre otros, apoyándose para ello en el uso de descriptores en ciencias de la salud o terminología MESH. La información aquí obtenida será revisada para su posterior análisis. Podemos concluir que la psoriasis es una enfermedad sistémica, caracterizada por la presencia de varios tipos. La afectación cutánea que puede producir son lesiones descamativas y pruriginosas, puede afectar las articulaciones y generar otras enfermedades asociadas como el riesgo cardiovascular o patología digestiva. El tratamiento va a depender del grado de la enfermedad, sin embargo, hay que destacar que existen múltiples tratamientos y otros en estudios que son prometedores como las células madres, vitamina B12, creación de piel humana artificial, entre otros. Los tratamientos utilizados desde hace un tiempo van desde tópicos a sistémicos no biológicos.
El término absceso hepático (AH), hace referencia a una colección de material supurativo encapsulada y ubicada a nivel del parénquima hepático, esta colección puede estar infectada por diferentes agentes ya sean bacterianos, fúngicos o parásitos. Siendo el más frecuente el bacteriano, llamado absceso hepático piógeno (AHP). La metodología utilizada para el presente trabajo de investigación, se enmarcada dentro de una revisión bibliográfica de tipo documental, ya que nos vamos a ocupar de temas planteados a nivel teórico como es Drenaje de abscesos hepáticos guiados por tomografía. La técnica para la recolección de datos está constituida por materiales electrónicos, estos últimos como Google Académico, PubMed, entre otros, apoyándose para ello en el uso de descriptores en ciencias de la salud o terminología MESH. La información aquí obtenida será revisada para su posterior análisis. El absceso hepático es una patología infecciosa, que durante los últimos años ha incrementado su morbilidad a causa de comorbilidades asociadas como neoplasias y hepatopatías crónicas. Se deben realizar exámenes complementarios para su diagnóstico, ya que la sintomatología con la que se presenta, a veces no puede determinarse por la clínica y su confirmación se hace mediante estudios de imágenes como la ecografía o la tomografía axial computarizada. En cuanto al tratamiento de primera línea por sus altas tasas de efectividad es el drenaje percutáneo por aspiración por aguja o por catéter, este último el más recomendado por ser mínimamente invasivo, ya sea guiado por ecografía o por tomografía axial computarizada.
El VPH es un virus que se transmite por medio de relaciones sexuales, en edades tempranas, con una prevalencia mayor en mujeres menores a 25 años, sin embargo, no hay que desestimarlo ya que puede desarrollar en algunos casos cáncer de cérvix. La metodología utilizada para el presente trabajo de investigación, se enmarcada dentro de una revisión bibliográfica de tipo documental, ya que nos vamos a ocupar de temas planteados a nivel teórico como es Virus del papiloma humano y su relación con el cáncer de cérvix. La técnica para la recolección de datos está constituida por materiales electrónicos, estos últimos como Google Académico, PubMed, entre otros, apoyándose para ello en el uso de descriptores en ciencias de la salud o terminología MESH. La información aquí obtenida será revisada para su posterior análisis. En base a la bibliografía consultada y analizada, si existe una relación directa entre el cáncer de cérvix con el VPH, sin embargo, esto no quiere decir que toda mujer que padezca VPH, se le va a desarrollar un cáncer de cuello uterino u otra patología maligna asociada al mismo, y esto en base a que el VPH generalmente no tiene sintomatología, solo en aquellos casos en donde la citología como prueba rutinaria de la mujer que acude a consulta ginecológica, le pueden aparecer o detectar ciertas verrugas, que asociadas a otras pruebas, pueden confirmar la presencia del VPH, sin embargo a pesar que este virus no tiene una cura per se, ya que el cuerpo entre un 80 y 90% suele resolverlo de manera espontánea, es posible que en aquellos casos donde el organismo no pueda desecharlo, se tiene que mantenerlo controlado para que no evolucione a algo más delicado como el cáncer.
La amiloidosis cutánea localizada primaria (ACLP) es una afección crónica relativamente rara caracterizada por el depósito de amiloide en la dermis sin depósitos asociados en los órganos internos. La histopatología de la amiloidosis cutánea mediante la tinción con hematoxilina y eosina (H&E) muestra material hialino eosinofílico en la dermis papilar, que puede confirmarse aún más mediante la tinción con rojo congo (RC), la prueba de inmunofluorescencia directa (IFD) o la inmunohistoquímica. El diagnóstico rápido y preciso de la amiloidosis cutánea primaria (ACLP) puede ser difícil porque sus síntomas suelen ser sutiles e inespecíficos. La tinción RC y IFD se complementan entre sí para la detección de amiloidosis macular. En caso de liquen y amiloidosis bifásica, tanto RC como IFD son modalidades comparables. La tinción DAPI podría servir como una técnica útil para establecer el diagnóstico de ACLP, y su alta eficacia en el diagnóstico de ACLP hace que sea menos dependiente de los niveles de experiencia de los evaluadores. Además, la unión de DAPI a la secuencia rica en AT de ADN bicatenario sugiere que el amiloide puede contener ADN o un ácido nucleico estructurado de manera similar.
El peso en los recién nacidos a término es un indicar de salud y su bajo peso puede dar como consecuencia complicaciones perinatales que ponen en riesgo la vida del neonato, aumentando así la tasa de morbilidad y mortalidad de los recién nacidos a nivel nacional y mundial, suceso que se observa con mayor prevalencia en los países subdesarrollados. El propósito de esta investigación es determinar la incidencia de las complicaciones en los recién nacidos a término de bajo peso en los partos atendidos en el servicio de gineco-obstetricia del Hospital León Becerra Camacho de Milagro en el periodo 2014- 2015 mediante la revisión de las historias clínicas, para así contribuir con la actualización de datos que permitan implementar nuevas formas de afrontar este problema en nuestro hospital. Durante el periodo 2014 – 2015 se obtuvieron 875 recién nacidos a término en el área de gineco-obstetricia del Hospital León Becerra Camacho de Milagro, de ellos se evidenció que 126 nacieron con un bajo peso. Según los datos recabados podemos observar que el 14% de los recién nacidos a término obtenidos en el área de gineco-obstetricia del Hospital León Becerra Camacho de Milagro en el periodo 2014- 2015, nacieron con bajo peso, y de ellos el 34% presentaron complicaciones perinatales, observándose con mayor frecuencia la asfixia perinatal en un 42%, seguida de la taquipnea transitoria en un 25%, la hipotermia en un 21% y el síndrome de aspiración meconial en un 12%. Mencionando también que el bajo peso predominó en el sexo masculino con el 63%, y que el peso que predominó en la población de estudio oscila entre 1500g y 2499g con un porcentaje del 72%, continuando con un 27% los pesos que fluctúan entre 1000g y 1499g, seguido del 1% de pesos inferiores de 1000g. Mientras que el porcentaje de la edad gestacional de los recién nacidos a término con bajo que se evidenció fue del 18% los de 37semanas, 25% los que tenían 38 semanas, 15% los de 39 semanas, 22% los que presentaban 40 semanas y 20% los de 41 semanas de edad gestacional. De esta forma se cumplieron con los objetivos generales y específicos planteados en esta investigación.
