ABSTRACT:Marx's engagement in philosophy has from the outset attempted a more objective development of humanism insofar as it only enters into such discipline in pursuit of a rationality whose development is not cut off from the concrete transformation of the world. Such is his impression of philosophy under the Hegelian dialectic: only philosophical reason would perceive itself as an undisputed form of reality, being able to realize the humanism that in Law is given as a pure idealism. In the Preparatory Notes for his doctoral thesis entitled Difference between the Philosophies of Democritus and Epicurus (DFDE) Marx developed a philosophy of history alternative to that of Hegel, indicating that democracy did not suffer decline in Greece due to the development of philosophical reason, but because of the victory of a philosophical reason that had undergone a change to theology.
Abstract: Hannah Arendt's critique to Karl Marx permeates the question of technology. Arendt suggested that Marx had contributed to elevate the animal laborans to the modern human condition when he indicated that human emancipation would lie in the workers' victory. This text affords a rebuttal to this criticism of Arendt, indicating that Marx refuses the traditional split between vita activa and vita contemplativa in order to oppose the alienation of man to labor. We will indicate that Marx was closer to Arendt than she imagined, since he rightly criticized the reduction of man to an activity that ends up giving to all other activities a purely utilitarian form. To both of them it is necessary to avoid undertaking a hierarchical reversal of thinking over acting. Keywords: Arendt; Marx; technology; work; labor; humanism.
This thesis undertakes an analysis of the genesis of Marx's emancipatory project to develop the links between the republican Marx and the communist and indicate that, quite different from his image prevalent in political and journalistic discourses that extol the liberal democracy after the collapse of the real socialism, his young's texts explicit the image of an unconditional lover of freedom. We indicated that the communism of Marx appears from the pursue the subsumption of abstract democracy to a real democracy, which also must be a subsumption of abstract freedom for real freedom. His project of social revolution derives from the refusal of the need of any vertical imposition of a public reason for the attainment of freedom. For Marx from 1837 to1842 the realization of freedom goes through a deconstruction of the alienation of reason through political emancipation, subsequently, after, from 1843 to 1845, he defends the deconstruction of the alienation of reason through social emancipation. However, this is not to say that he abandons the combat of the alienation of public reason, but that he recognize that the overcoming of the alienated reason is done by two sides of the same movement: the praxis. We argue that human emancipation as social emancipation in Marx suggests the denial of reducing men to mere being around the economy itself, around the material productive activity itself, or merely be around the reason itself, around the subjective productive activity itself. In it, the overcoming of private property and labor as alienated extremes should accomplish the overcoming of objective activity and subjective activity as alienated extremes, so must also overcome religious and political alienation. The human emancipation is not the unilateral denial of private property, but the development of a way of life not closed in limits of the categories (policy itself, the philosophy itself and political economy itself), a way of life in which the transformation of the material translates to everyone in the production of human life as a life rich in meanings.
Infraestrutura. Superesturura. História. Revolução. Abstract: The history of Marxism and social movements demonstrate that the different conceptions of what Marx meant by his concepts of base and superstructure in the configuration of a theory of history guided different strategies of struggle on the political left - with Western Marxism configured as a reaction to the Soviet, rejecting, among other things, the idea of a mechanistic relationship in structural social factors. The present article suggests clues to criticize the interpretation that there is an economic reductionism in the work of Karl Marx. Keywords: Marx. Infrastructure. Supersession. History. Revolution.
