The following article discusses the magical treatment that Rima de Vallbona gives to Circe, one of Horners mythological characters, in "La tejedora de palabras". In this short story, from the book Los infiernos de la mujer y algo más... VaUbona gives the character a new structure within a contemporary academic context. Through language, Vallbona creates a new environment for the characters and the reader. However, this environment is suddendly tranformed into fantasy, nightmare or possibly a denied reality.
