Many German dry ports have already been successfully established and positioned in the past; however, several questions may arise. Can they keep pace with latest standards? Can they maintain their strong capabilities or are there locations in Europe, of whose achievements German dry ports can still 'learn'? What impulses come in turn from the German dry ports? The aim of this study was to illustrate the international logistics landscape and furthermore to give recommendations for the successful development of macro logistics concepts in Europe. The European ranking of 2015 is based in terms of its methodology on the scientific assessments of the authors. Therefore, it is evident that the results for example with use of a different weighting of the 40 evaluation criteria can certainly lead to different ranking results. In comparison to the first European Ranking 2010, there is no change among the TOP 3 in the ranking 2015.
New Sources of Employment to Promote the Wealth-Generating Capacity of Rural Communities (acronym: RuralJobs) is a collaborative research project partly funded under the European Commission Research and Development 7th Framework Program. The RuralJobs consortium consists of partners drawn from eight European Union (EU) countries (Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Spain and UK). The project began on February 2008 and finished in October 2010. RuralJobs quantified labour market, demographic and economic trends, and the impact of employment creation measures and policies in seven, representative "reference areas" across the EU, and used the information to demonstrate how rural development measures can be better targeted and how rural development policies should evolve. We identified labour market, demographic and economic trends in rural areas across EU-27 and the potential for new sources of employment outside traditional primary and secondary sector activities, and examined the interaction between different types of rural area (peri-urban, remote, high environmental/amenity value etc.). We identified employment growth areas where rural development programmes can be targeted to increase their contribution to employment creation. Our strategic objectives were the following: review of employment policies and programmes, scenarios for new sources of employment according to rural typologies, recommendations for better targeting of strategies, dissemination and mainstreaming. The main outcome expected is that the results will allow a better targeting of rural development measures and future evolution of rural development policies in line with the Lisbon Strategy.
It is important to investigate labour market tools as employment policy is expected to reduce unemployment and the segmentation of the labour market, to decrease the intensifying unfavourable situation of vulnerable social groups, to help the geographical, employment and branch labour mobility and to improve productivity. I examine the role of public employment of the labour market tools. I introduce the development of public employment tools and detail that what effects the public employment has on the tendency of unemployment. The literature review in my research was compiled with the aim of a secondary research objective. In the literature review I deal with the introduction of the public employment as a tool for handling labour market crises in the countries of the European Union, as well as with the characteristics of the new system of public employment in Hungary. The numbers of those who are involved in the public employment program both at national and sub-regional levels forecast its significance and necessity under the present condition of the Hungarian economy.
A raktárgazdálkodás az elmúlt években széleskörű és gyors fejlődésnek indult. Ez az egyre komplexebb logisztikai folyamatok mellett a raktár kialakításával és működtetésével kapcsolatos erőteljes és látványos fejlődésnek köszönhető. Kutatásomban a raktár-technológiai rendszerrel szemben elvárt teljesítmény meghatározásának összetett problémakörét vizsgáltam. Ez a döntés magában foglalja a teljesítmény mérésére alkalmas kulcsfontosságú teljesítménymutatók kiválasztását és az emutatók mentén specifikált elvárt teljesítményszint meghatározását egy vizsgált vállalat példáján. Kutatásom során megállapítottam, hogy a raktári folyamatok logisztikai teljesítmény mérése nagyon nehéz feladat, mert minden vállalatnak olyan mutatókat kell meghatározni és alkalmazni, amelyek a vállalat profiljához jól illeszkednek, és hűen tükrözik a mérni kívánt teljesítményt. E döntés nagy fontosságú, hiszen ehhez a teljesítmény-elváráshoz kell majd igazítanunk raktári rendszerünket és annak működési elveit.
