The work presented analyzes the relationship between two organizational structures related to the rural school in the province of Teruel (Spain) and which have been and continue to be key to guarantee the quality and equity of it. The binomial CRA-CRIET continues to be a fundamental organizational model since the late 80s of the last century. The analysis carried out has a double perspective when referring, on the one hand, to its organizational and territorial aspect, and, on the other, to the curricular approach that unites both structures. This is intended to value the validity and idiosyncrasy of this model, as well as to assess the possibilities and limitations as a pedagogical innovation focus for education in the Spanish rural context of the 21st century.
Rural schools are a distinctive feature in the autonomous community of Aragon, as state-run rural schools are the main cultural institution in small towns. This research was conducted in four grouped rural schools (hereafter referred to by their Spanish acronym, CRAs) in the province of Teruel in 2017. Our objectives included analysing the views of management team members and teachers on educational leadership with a special emphasis on the rural school's differentiating elements. Four CRAs were chosen in the province of Teruel. Three teachers and six members of management teams participated and the study data were collected using a qualitative interview. The content analysis of the interview was conducted using the NVivo program and was organised into two fundamental areas: views of educational leadership and the skills this leadership includes. The general perception of management teams and teachers is positive; they value the effort put into performing the work and understand that both management and CRAs are complex. They also appreciate the management teams' organisation of training and its contents. This analysis suggests a set

ABSTRACTThis article summarizes a multireferential case study developed on the MRP Aula Libre since the late Francoism to present. From a historical study of the political and social context, in which the pedagogical renovation arose its main materializations take shape and materializes the sociological and epistemological processes lived within the MRP. The professional and contextual coordinates of the public school and the education in the Aragonese rural environment promote the assumption of certain practices, based largely on the Freinet techniques, wich create a specific pedagogic ideology for Aula Libre. These reflections are intended to encourage the deepening of the discussion on the current validity of the pedagogical renewal.

Thus, we intend to know their expectations and beliefs through a probabilistic sampling over 270 students of rural schools of several Spanish regions (Aragon, Cataluña and Andalucia). For that purpose we designed a questionnaire and the results were analyzed with SPSS statistic software. Among the results we came across that 57,8% of the students think they will be successful in their academic future and more than 50% would like to work in a profession related to tertiary sector. Finally, we found that there is a straight relationship between the population of the villages and the beliefs and expectations the students have of themselves. Keywords: Rural school, students’ beliefs, expectations, students, Spanish villages.
