Freire et al. 242RELATO DE CASO CASE REPORT RESUMO O lúpus eritematoso (LE) raramente ocorre na infância e, quando aparece, manifesta-se, mais freqüentemente, sob a forma de lúpus eritematoso sistêmico. A forma restrita à pele é extremamente incomum e pode apresentar-se nas variantes lúpus eritematoso discóide, lúpus eritematoso cutâneo subagudo (LECS) e lúpus neonatal (LN). Em razão dessa raridade e com vistas aos dados reportados na literatura, apresentamos dois casos de lúpus cutâneo em crianças. O caso um refere-se a um paciente masculino, branco, cinco anos, com lesões de pele eritematoso-descamativas, alopecia, artralgia e dificuldade para deambular. O exame neurológico evidenciou paraparesia espástica com sinais de liberação piramidal. O caso dois refere-se a um lactente de um mês, masculino, filho de mãe com LECS, com lesões de pele eritematoso-ovalares presentes ao nascimento, além de anemia, plaquetopenia e evidência ecocardiográfica de canal arterial pérvio. O diagnóstico de LN foi baseado nos dados clínicos, laboratoriais, histopatológico e antecedentes familiares. Concluímos com a apresentação desses casos que, em razão da raridade do lúpus cutâneo na infância, diante de casos suspeitos, deve-se estar atento para o diagnóstico precoce e acompanhamento dos pacientes, de modo a prevenir possíveis complicações e sistematização da doença. * Disciplina de Reumatologia do departamento de clínica médica da Faculdade de Medicina do Triângulo Mineiro (FMTM) Recebido em 25/09/2003. Contexto: O sistema linfático tem papel relevante em qualquer tipo de edema periférico. Atualmente, a linfocintilografia é considerada o principal exame para diagnóstico da doença linfática das extremidades. Embora haja associação entre edema linfático e úlcera de estase venosa crônica, a fisiopatologia dessas alterações permanece indefinida. Objetivo: Verificar as alterações linfocintilográficas qualitativas que ocorrem em pacientes portadores de úlceras de estase dos membros inferiores. Métodos: Quarenta pacientes portadores de úlcera de estase venosa crônica ou cicatriz unilateral foram submetidos a linfocintilografia de ambos os membros inferiores. Foram estudados 25 mulheres e 15 homens, com média de idade de 53,7 anos (28 a 79 anos) e tempo médio de úlcera de 71,5 meses (3 a 240 meses). Foram comparados qualitativamente os parâmetros linfocintilográficos dos membros inferiores, previamente classificados em três grupos de acordo com a classificação clínica, etiológica, anatômica e patológica (CEAP): I, membros sem sinais clínicos de doença venosa ou com telangiectasias e veias reticulares (classes 0 e 1); II, membros inferiores com veias varicosas, edema e/ou alterações de pele e subcutâneo (classes 2, 3 e 4); III, membros inferiores com úlcera e/ou cicatriz (classes 5 e 6). Resultados: Quando foi comparada a presença de alterações linfocintilográficas dos membros com úlcera ou cicatriz (grupo III - classes 5 e 6) com as dos membros sem úlcera (grupos I e II - classes 0, 1, 2, 3 e 4), houve diferença significativa (p < 0,001). Estratificando os membros inferiores de acordo com a classificação CEAP, também foi observada diferença estatisticamente significante (p < 0,001), sendo as alterações linfocintilográficas presentes em 72,5% no grupo III (classes 5 e 6), 30,8% no grupo II (classes 2, 3 e 4) e 7,1% no grupo III (classes 0 e 1). Em relação aos parâmetros analisados na linfocintilografia, ocorreu diferença significativa entre o grupo III e os outros grupos quanto à retenção de radiofármaco, adenomegalia inguinal e refluxo dérmico. Não houve significância nos parâmetros linfonodo poplíteo e circulação colateral. Conclusão: Considerando os resultados, conclui-se que quanto mais grave a estase venosa crônica, maiores serão as alterações linfocintilográficas observadas, corroborando a associação entre doença venosa e linfática e entre linfedema secundário e estase venosa crônica.
A Educação Profissional e a Educação de Jovens e Adultos são o “chão” que sustenta o Proeja. A EJA se configura enquanto campo de estudo fértil e acolhe um público composto em parte por trabalhadores que, impulsionados pela necessidade de sobrevivência, não completaram os estudos no período previsto como o regular. A Educação Profissional, após o Decreto 5.151/04, ganhou fôlego ao ser pensada em conjunto com o Ensino Médio, para atender a uma demanda urgente que é a formação da classe trabalhadora, pois estes mesmos trabalhadores (jovens e adultos) necessitam de uma formação intelectual que vem sendo discutida há décadas. A relação dos sujeitos desta modalidade de ensino com o mundo do trabalho e a proeminente necessidade de oferecer à classe trabalhadora uma formação unitária (unindo ensino técnico e propedêutico) direcionaram o objetivo deste artigo que pretende analisar a formação profissional ofertada na Bahia pelos Institutos Federais (IF Baiano e IFBA), mediante o Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (PROEJA). Pretende-se, a partir de uma revisão de literatura e análise documental, retomar os conceitos do ensino integrado e da educação profissional, além disso, consultar fontes, como os editais lançados pelo IFBAIANO e IFBA nos últimos anos (2015-2019) que descrevem cursos ofertados e número de vagas, por fim analisaremos também a situação atual dessa oferta no presente ano.
