As corridas de rua são consideradas um fenômeno social devido a sua crescente expansão no Brasil e no mundo. No entanto, há uma carência de informações a respeito do perfil sociodemográfico dos praticantes de corridas de rua, assim como os seus motivos de adesão e características de treinamento. Essas informações são essenciais para a elaboração de estratégias de intervenção profissional voltadas para os praticantes de corrida de rua. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o perfil sociodemográfico, os motivos de adesão e as características de treinamento de corredores de rua. Participaram da pesquisa 214 praticantes de corrida de rua, do gênero masculino e feminino, idade entre 18 e 58 anos (M = 36,4 ± 10,3), devidamente inscritos em provas que fazem parte do calendário oficial de corridas. Os praticantes responderam um questionário composto por 18 questões organizadas em 3 categorias: perfil sociodemográfico, motivos de adesão e características de treinamento. Os resultados evidenciaram que a maioria dos praticantes de corrida de rua são do gênero masculino (62,1%), com faixa etária predominante entre 20 e 40 anos, elevado nível de escolaridade e que buscam essa atividade especialmente por motivos de saúde (91,1%) e prazer (69,1%). Apesar de 43,9% dos praticantes não receberem acompanhamento profissional, 96,6% consideram importante ou muito importante a supervisão profissional durante a prática. Os achados indicam que, em geral, os adeptos da corrida de rua optam pela prática devido a busca pela melhora da qualidade de vida e a socialização, bem como a redução do estresse.

Purpose. this study investigated the occurrence of relative age effect (RAE) in Brazilian elite soccer athletes depending on age categories, playing position, and competitive level. Methods. Data from 2660 male elite soccer athletes who participated in the 2019 Brazilian soccer championships were analysed. to determine RAE, the players were divided by their quarter of birth: Q1 (January-March), Q2 (April-June), Q3 (July-September), and Q4 (October-December). Data were obtained from the Brazilian Soccer Confederation (CBF) official website, and from each club's website when no information was available at the CBF website. Were included the athletes who participated in the 2019 Brazilian soccer championships in series A and B. Data were organized in accordance with age categories (under-20 or senior), playing position (forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers), and competitive level (Series A or B).Results. An overrepresentation of soccer players born in the first quarter of the year was found when compared with the other quarters, whereas players born in the last quarter of the year were underrepresented, regardless of the age category and competitive level. Regarding playing position, an overrepresentation of soccer players born in the first quarter of the year was found for all playing positions in both age categories, except for the goalkeepers in the senior category. Conclusions. Our results showed a prevalence of RAE in U-20 and senior age categories in elite Brazilian soccer athletes, in both competitive levels, and for all playing positions, except for goalkeepers in the senior category.

Little is known about the role of the attentional, motor and non-planning impulsivities in motor timing tasks. The aim of this study was to correlate the motor performance in a motor timing task with the performance in neuropsychological tests of twenty two volunteers. Before the execution of the motor task, participant wore a headphone and heard five times each temporal reference (2,500 and 3,500 msec) that consisted of two “bips”. After, the motor timing task was performed in five trials of each temporal reference. The task consisted in transporting tennis balls in a pre-defined sequence in each criterion time. It was evaluated: reaction time, movement time, constant error and absolute error. The neuropsychological tests IGT and CPT-II were applied to the evaluation of impulsivities. The findings indicated that attentional impulsivity was more related to the motor performance than the motor and non-planning impulsivities.Key Words: Impulsivity, motor control, motor timing task.Â

RESUMO O efeito de diferentes números de demonstrações na aquisição de habilidades motoras ainda não está claro. Isto incentivou a investigação do efeito do número de demonstrações na aprendizagem do arremesso de dardo de salão. Quatorze sujeitos foram distribuídos aleatoriamente em 4 grupos: uma demonstração (D1), duas (D2), quatro (D4) e oito (D8). O experimento constou de três fases: aquisição, com 70 tentativas do arremesso "profissional", a 2,37m do alvo; teste de transferência após 3 minutos, com 10 tentativas da pegada em "V", a 3,37m; e teste de retenção da aquisição, com 10 tentativas, após 10 minutos. Na análise do padrão de movimento, pela moda, não se detectou diferença significativa intergrupos (p>0,05) e detectou-se, no índice de variabilidade do padrão de movimento (IVP), diferença intergrupos no bloco 1 do teste de retenção, sendo 4 e 8 demonstrações superiores. Os resultados mostram que todos os grupos foram semelhantes na aprendizagem da tarefa. Além disso, 4 e 8 demonstrações apresentaram uma maior flexibilidade no padrão de movimento.
