Sedimentary rocks with layered structure account for two third of global land area, and this proportion is 77.3% in China, lots of metamorphic rocks also have significant features of layered structure, so there are a large number of stability problems about layered rock mass in mining engineering. Layered rock mass is generally considered to be transversely isotropic solid in mechanics. Based on the complex variable expression of displacement components of transversely isotropy, the displacement analytical solution of a deep elliptical tunnel in transversely isotropic rock mass is derived by conformal mapping method.
-C-Fe-Si/SiC coated Fe nanocapsules were prepared by arc evaporating the mixture of Fe and SiC powders in He and H2 atmosphere, and their microstructure, surface compositions and electromagnetic(EM) properties(2–18GHz) were investigated by means of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and network analyzer, respectively. The reflection loss R of less than –20 dB was obtained in the frequency range of 3.13–13.6 GHz with an absorber thickness of 2.0–5.5 mm. An optimal reflection loss of–37.2 dB was reached at 5.6GHz with an absorber thickness of 4.5mm. The microwave absorptive mechanisms of -C-Fe-Si/SiC coated Fe nanocapsules absorbent were discussed.
The distance relays of transmission lines find limitations in the presence of series compensated capacitor. One of them is the distance relay setting issue, in which either over-reach problem or under-reach problem may occur. To deal with this issue, a differential equation based adaptive distance relaying setting method for series compensated line is proposed. As for it do not need to identify whether SC/MOV is in fault loop, not need to know the parameters and the operating states of SC/MOV/GAP, and furthermore, it can be realized without the iterative calculation, it is very suitable to be used for the distance relaying adaptive setting of series compensated line. Simple simulation results certificate the proposed adaptive setting method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
