Abstract:The furnaces used for the manufacture of sugar cane have energy losses due to incomplete combustion of sugar cane bagasse and sensible heat in the flue gases. During production of sugar cane, bagasse from sugar cane is used as fuel, with mass fractions of humidity between 30% and 50%, which affect the combustion efficiency in the furnace. The objective of this research is to study the influence of bagasse which is introduced into the furnace of a fixed bed, features, analysis and conclusions. Looking establish operating conditions that lead to obtain the best performance in the combustion of biomass.Keywords: Sugarcane bagasse, combustion, fixed bed oven, brown sugar.Resumen: Los hornos utilizados para la elaboración de la panela presentan pérdidas energéticas debido a una combustión incompleta del bagazo de caña de azúcar y al calor sensible en los gases de chimenea. Durante el proceso de producción de la panela, el bagazo de caña de azúcar se utiliza como combustible, con fracciones másicas de humedad entre 30% y 50%, las cuales afectan el rendimiento de la combustión en el horno de lecho fijo. El objetivo de esta investigación es estudiar la influencia del bagazo de caña que se introduce en el horno de lecho fijo, sus características, análisis y conclusiones. Buscando establecer las condiciones de operación que conlleven a obtener el mayor rendimiento en la combustión de la biomasa.Palabras clave: Bagazo de caña azúcar, combustión, horno de lecho fijo, panela.
El propósito de este trabajo consiste en realizar una propuesta para la inserción del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental en el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de La Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña, con el fin de identificar los criterios y determinar los parámetros definidos para la aplicación de la responsabilidad social universitaria en el aspecto ambiental desde el plan de estudios. Para tal fin, se implementa una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo que permitirá caracterizar para el programa académico a través de analizar la variable ambiental de la responsabilidad social universitaria para obtener una propuesta del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental (SIGA) en el Programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña enfocado al uso eficiente de la energía y cuidado del medio ambiente. El presente trabajo incluye el análisis de la estructura organizada, responsabilidades, planificación de las actividades, prácticas, procedimientos, procesos y los recursos para desarrollar, implantar y mantener al día la política medioambiental de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña a través del programa de Ingeniería Mecánica. En este sentido, se esperan contar con una caracterización que permita validar el Sistema de Gestión Ambiental, y así consolidar como los Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental deben ser apropiados a la naturaleza e impactos medioambientales de sus actividades, productos y servicios; para que el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica tenga un compromiso de mejora continua y de prevención de la contaminación en un marco adecuado para el establecimiento y revisión de los objetivos y metas medioambientales de la institución.
La presente investigación tiene como propósito, fortalecer las estrategias pedagógicas implementadas en el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Seccional Ocaña, a través de la armonización en el desarrollo de competencias y los resultados de aprendizaje apoyados en los logros de desempeño, establecidos en asignaturas del programa académico como Estática, Diseño Térmico y Electromagnetismo. El análisis busca mejorar la enseñanza – aprendizaje a través de una evaluación formativa, mejorando los perfiles de los estudiantes del programa y las habilidades para desempeñarse laboralmente, solucionando necesidades del entorno a nivel regional e internacional. La investigación se caracteriza por una metodología de tipo descriptiva, que implica desarrollar las etapas de formulación, medición (assessment) y evaluación de competencias o resultados de aprendizaje a través de un proceso de planificación, contextualización y evaluación con los estudiantes. Al final, se presentan los resultados obtenidos, a partir de los criterios establecidos en la rúbrica de evaluación valorada desde la exploración, socialización, planificación desarrollo y presentación e innovación, establecidos a partir de las estrategias de aprendizaje orientadas en cada uno de los cursos. Las estrategias pedagógicas orientadas en las asignaturas, se organizan a partir de proyectos de aula, aprendizaje basado en problemas y estudio de casos. Se obtienen como resultados, que en el curso de electromagnetismo el 60% de los estudiantes realizan una buena indagación al tema propuesto y se aproximan al fenómeno de estudio, el 80 % realizan una buena actividad de experimentación y el 75% presenta un buen análisis de los resultados, análisis, conclusiones o modelos que permitan la explicación del fenómeno en estudio a través del producto esperado; en la asignatura estática el 70% de los estudiantes no presentan un análisis estáticamente correcto de piezas de máquinas y se les dificulta la utilización del software para desarrollar la actividad y se requiere articular más el entorno real con los espacios académicos implementados en el aula, la cual demuestre al estudiante el enfoque hacia la resolución de problemas de la realidad. En la asignatura de Diseño Térmico una vez revisada la información, se determina que el 28% de los estudiantes presentanproyectos con poca actualización, el contenido aporta poca innovación sobre temas de investigación, el 72% de los estudiantes presentan una propuesta de investigación nueva y propone soluciones energéticas a problemas presentes en la comunidad y el 41% de los estudiantes poseen poca habilidad para hacer una presentación de su proyecto en la cual No se presenta la exposición general del tema o las subdivisiones principales y el 59% de los estudiantes definen los métodos empleados de forma excelente y la metodología empleada es coherente con los objetivos. Es así como se establecen las acciones para el mejoramiento del programa de Ingeniería Mecánica, de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos con las estrategias implementadas en el aula. De esta manera, se realiza el seguimiento al cumplimiento de los Resultados de Aprendizaje, alineados con el plan general de estudios y el perfil de egreso.
La presente investigación tiene como propósito la implementación de estrategias metodológicas para la integración de Resultados de Aprendizaje en el proceso formativo de los estudiantes del programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Seccional Ocaña. El Comité Curricular a partir de los procesos de Autoevaluación, ha realizado la revisión a los aspectos curriculares, articulado con las necesidades de la región, el país y las oportunidades de desarrollo profesional, en consonancia con las tendencias a nivel nacional e internacional para la formación y sobre la prospectiva de la profesión. Este trabajo, se fundamenta en el cumplimiento de la normatividad establecida por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional según Decreto 1330 de 25 de julio de 2019, Acuerdo 02 de CESU y la aplicación de modelo de acreditación ABET, ARCU-SUR y el Marco Común Europeo considerados como referentes para la implementación de Resultados de Aprendizaje y competencias profesionales descritas en el perfil de egreso. La investigación se caracteriza por una metodología de tipo descriptiva que se desarrolla a partir de las etapas de formulación, implementación y evaluación de los Resultados de Aprendizaje del programa según Acuerdo N° 22 de 27 de mayo de 2021 de la UFPS. El Comité Curricular del programa, concibe el aprendizaje centrado en el estudiante según el Enfoque Pedagógico Constructivista Social, el cual considera que el estudiante desempeña un papel activo en la adquisición del conocimiento, por lo tanto, el proceso formativo cuenta con una alineación constructiva de las actividades formativas y evaluativas para el logro de los Resultados de Aprendizaje, fortaleciendo las actitudes y habilidades en la formación de estudiantes autónomos, responsables de su propio aprendizaje y capaces de emprender procesos de mejoramiento continuo. En la etapa de evaluación, se aplican instrumentos que permitan validar las opciones didácticas utilizadas por el docente en el Aula a partir de guías de aprendizaje y rúbricas que facilitan la valoración del nivel de formación y desempeño de los estudiantes. Los criterios de evaluación de cada rúbrica están acorde a los Resultados de Aprendizaje definidos a partir de la Taxonomía de Bloom revisado Anderson y krathwohl en el microcurriculo de todas las asignaturas, articulados a las cuatro áreas de formación establecidas en la malla curricular. Es así como por ejemplo, las actividades evaluativas orientadas desde la lectoescritura y/o actividades verbales como ensayos, informes o proyectos de aula, son valorados desde la originalidad, presentación, síntesis, contenido, análisis, revisión de literatura, redacción y ortografía. Resultado de este proceso el Comité Curricular define un plan de evaluación que permite verificar en cuatro periodos académicos, el logro de los resultados de aprendizaje, en donde el 47% de los docentes del programa fueron seleccionados para entregar evidencias de la implementación de las estrategias metodológicas aplicadas en el Aula. Este proceso de Autoevaluación con docentes de área en el 38 % de las asignaturas, permite la formulación de un Plan de Mejoramiento, con el fin de garantizar las competencias profesionales y ocupaciones establecidas en el perfil de egreso
