El propósito de este trabajo consiste en realizar una propuesta para la inserción del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental en el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de La Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña, con el fin de identificar los criterios y determinar los parámetros definidos para la aplicación de la responsabilidad social universitaria en el aspecto ambiental desde el plan de estudios. Para tal fin, se implementa una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo que permitirá caracterizar para el programa académico a través de analizar la variable ambiental de la responsabilidad social universitaria para obtener una propuesta del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental (SIGA) en el Programa de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña enfocado al uso eficiente de la energía y cuidado del medio ambiente. El presente trabajo incluye el análisis de la estructura organizada, responsabilidades, planificación de las actividades, prácticas, procedimientos, procesos y los recursos para desarrollar, implantar y mantener al día la política medioambiental de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña a través del programa de Ingeniería Mecánica. En este sentido, se esperan contar con una caracterización que permita validar el Sistema de Gestión Ambiental, y así consolidar como los Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental deben ser apropiados a la naturaleza e impactos medioambientales de sus actividades, productos y servicios; para que el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica tenga un compromiso de mejora continua y de prevención de la contaminación en un marco adecuado para el establecimiento y revisión de los objetivos y metas medioambientales de la institución.
Resumen: El consumo de energía eléctrica en los hogares de Colombia y el mundo hoy en día es uno de los más elevados, debido al incremento de la población mundial; nace el interés de realizar un estudio donde se analiza el consumo de energía eléctrica por equipo en un grupo de viviendas de la ciudad de Ocaña, Norte de Santander de diferentes estratos sociales. Se recopiló información sobre el consumo de energía eléctrica de algunas viviendas, detectando la necesidad de implementar buenas prácticas y estrategias como auditorías sobre el consumo de energía que permitan monitorear y aprovechar los recursos de mejor manera.Palabras clave: Energía eléctrica, consumo, eficiencia energética. Abstract:The consumption of electric energy in the homes of Colombia and the world today is one of the highest, due to the increase of the world population; The interest of a study that analyzes the consumption of electrical energy by equipment in a group of houses of the city of Ocaña, North of Santander of different social strata is born. Information was collected on the consumption of electric power in some homes, detecting the need to implement good practices and strategies such as energy consumption audits that allow better monitoring and use of resources.
El presente trabajo permite intuir los ilimitados alcances de la aplicación de la física en el ámbito forense, para introducir en el análisis de la investigación de un siniestro vial, técnicas computarizadas de simulación que se derivan de un riguroso estudio del siniestro concreto, para obtener detalles específicos en lo referente a los parámetros físicos del vehículo y del peatón involucrados en el accidente tales como: velocidad, aceleración, energía cinética y el desplazamiento. La reconstrucción del accidente vehículo - peatón, para el caso frontal, requiere de un análisis detallado de todos los parámetros que tienen incidencia en el evento, dicho análisis se muestra a través de una simulación virtual realizada en solidwork 2014 en donde estas simulaciones no sustituyen a las pruebas físicas de choque, pero en ella se evalúa con más precisión la dinámica del vehículo y la del peatón con respecto a su centro de masa. A través de esta herramienta se analizan gráficos en el tiempo correspondiente a velocidad, aceleración, desplazamiento y energía cinética que permite confrontar los daños en el vehículo y las lesiones en el peatón con su comportamiento dinámico, además la simulación virtual permite profundizar en el grado de deformidad de la estructura del automóvil y como afecta éste sobre la aparición de lesiones en los peatones, además sí constituyen la única opción práctica para probar el gran conjunto de evaluaciones de comportamiento frente a seguridad que se necesitan.
La gasificación de biomasa es uno de los sistemas con gran potencial ya que permite la generación tanto de energía térmica como eléctrica, mediante tecnologías de bajo costo. Para la implementación de esta técnica, se requiere el conocimiento del proceso termoquímico y las influencias de los parámetros que intervienen dentro de la gasificación, para esto se hace necesario implementar un modelo teórico que permita realizar un análisis de lo ocurrido en cada fase de la gasificación de biomasa. Los sistemas de gasificación de biomasa, bien sea de origen forestal, agrícola o urbanos se enmarcan dentro del desarrollo sostenible de los países, ya que se integran con planes de manejo de residuos sólidos, generando energía eléctrica, disminuyendo la dependencia energética de combustibles derivados del petróleo y reduciendo las emisiones de dióxido de carbono a la atmósfera. En el desarrollo del proyecto se plantea formular el modelo teórico de la gasificación de biomasa en un reactor de lecho fijo con flujo descendente, donde se puede predecir la composición del gas obtenido. Se desarrolla el modelo a partir del planteamiento de las ecuaciones de equilibrio termodinámico y balance de masa en las zonas de oxidación y reducción.
