Le présent article est une illustration de l'application de la théorie systématique à la résolution d'un problème d'inadaptation scolaire et familiale.
L'échec scolaire et les troubles du comportement de l'enfant au sein de la famille ont été interprétés comme des symptômes exprimant des communications perturbées entre l'enfant et ses parents, entre les parents eux-mêmes et, secondairement, entre l'enfant et l'institutrice. L'analyse du système de communication au sein de la famille a montré une alternance de jeux d'alternances symétriques et de retraits ou refus de la communication allant jusqu'à mettre en péril l'unité de la famille et l'avenir scolaire de l'enfant.
Les actions thérapeutiques ont essentiellement consisté à rendre impossibles ces blocages de la communication par des injonctions paradoxales, la prescription de comportements symptomatiques, l'établissement d'un contrat de responsabilités réciproques précises. Ces actions se sont inscrites dans le cadre de neuf séances thérapeutiques réparties sur une période de quatre mois. Elle ont abouti à la disparition de l'inadaptation scolaire parallèlement au rétablissement de relations intra- familiales satisfaisantes.
La présente recherche s'attache à l'observation du développement génétique des enfants de 7 à 12 ans au plan oral et écrit par la compréhension de phrases complexes. La plupart des travaux en psycholinguistique ne se sont intéressés qu'à l'aspect oral du langage ; il est important de faire une recherche à la fois en oral et en écrit et ensuite de comparer ces deux réalités du langage. Nous constatons qu'il n'existe aucune différence significative dans la compréhension linguistique à l'oral et à l'écrit. Il s'agirait d'un même savoir linguistique (compétence). Il n'y aurait donc pas de primauté de l'oral sur l'écrit et inversement. Par contre, la compréhension à l'oral tend à s'acquérir à 9 et l'écrit à 10 ans.
