Os corredores ecológicos surgem como alternativa para mitigar os efeitos da fragmentação florestal permitindo entre eles o fluxo gênico de fauna e flora e a recolonização de áreas degradadas. Diante do exposto o presente estudo teve como objetivo, identificar para a bacia hidrográfica do rio Itapemirim, ES, por meio de metodologia desenvolvida em Sistemas de Informações Geográficas, a delimitação de corredores ecológicos que propiciem a interligação de fragmentos florestais, identificados mediante análise das métricas da paisagem como fragmentos florestais com atributos espaciais, que sugerem maior conservação. A metodologia consistiu no mapeamento dos fragmentos florestais por meio de técnicas de classificação supervisionada utilizando imagem do satélite LANDSAT 8 OLI, obtidas junto ao Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais. Realizou-se o cálculo dos índices de ecologia, por meio do software ArcGis 10.2, com a extensão de domínio público V-LATER 2.0. Identificou-se 11.749 fragmentos florestais, que representam 22% de cobertura florestal na bacia hidrográfica. Os fragmentos pequenos (< 5 ha) foram encontrados em maior número, 8.394, seguidos pelos fragmentos de tamanho médio (5 a 50 ha), 2.995, e grandes (> 50 ha), 360. O número de fragmentos apresentaram relação inversa com sua contribuição na área. O bioma Mata Atlântica presente na bacia hidrográfica do rio Itapemirim, é representado, em sua maioria, por fragmentos florestais pequenos, menores que 5 ha, indicando um alto grau de fragmentação.  Identification of Forest Fragments Potential for the delimitation of Ecological Corridors in the Itapemirim, ES River Basin through Remote Sensing techniques A B S T R A C TEcological corridors emerge as an alternative to mitigate the effects of forest fragmentation, allowing for the gene flow of fauna and flora and the recolonization of degraded areas. Nas condições em que os estudos foram realizados, a análise dos resultados permitiu-se apresentar as seguintes conclusões, por meio do NDVI multitemporal foi possível discriminar a dinâmica da vegetação, ganho, perda de biomassa verde, manejo e o ciclo fenológico das duas variedades de cana-de-açúcar. The state of Amapá within the Amazon biome has a high complexity of ecosystems formed by forests, savannas, seasonally flooded vegetation, mangroves, and different land uses. The present research aimed to map the vegetation from the phenological behavior of the Sentinel-1 time series, which has the advantage of not having atmospheric interference and cloud cover. Furthermore, the study compared three different sets of images (vertical–vertical co-polarization (VV) only, vertical–horizontal cross-polarization (VH) only, and both VV and VH) and different classifiers based on deep learning (long short-term memory (LSTM), Bidirectional LSTM (Bi-LSTM), Gated Recurrent Units (GRU), Bidirectional GRU (Bi-GRU)) and machine learning (Random Forest, Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), k-Nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Machines (SVMs), and Multilayer Perceptron). The time series englobed four years (2017–2020) with a 12-day revisit, totaling 122 images for each VV and VH polarization. The methodology presented the following steps: image pre-processing, temporal filtering using the Savitsky–Golay smoothing method, collection of samples considering 17 classes, classification using different methods and polarization datasets, and accuracy analysis. The combinations of the VV and VH pooled dataset with the Bidirectional Recurrent Neuron Networks methods led to the greatest F1 scores, Bi-GRU (93.53) and Bi-LSTM (93.29), followed by the other deep learning methods, GRU (93.30) and LSTM (93.15). Among machine learning, the two methods with the highest F1-score values were SVM (92.18) and XGBoost (91.98). Therefore, phenological variations based on long Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) time series allow the detailed representation of land cover/land use and water dynamics.

ResumoEste trabalho teve como objetivo comparar o desempenho de cinco métodos de interpolação: inverso da distância ponderada (IDW), Krigagem esférico, natural vizinho, Spline regularizada e Topo to Raster. Para tanto, utilizaram-se dados de precipitação pluviométrica média mensal de um período de trinta anos (1972 a 2002), obtidas junto ao Sistema de Informações Hidrológicas (HidroWEB) da Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA), de estações localizadas dentro e fora da área da bacia hidrográfica do rio Itapemirim, sul do estado do Espírito Santo. Os resultados apontam que o interpolador de Krigagem esférica obteve o menor Erro Quadrado Médio (EQM), Percentual de Eficiência (EF%), Erro Médio Absoluto (MAE), Coeficiente de Determinação (r²) e Estimativa do Erro Padrão (EEP), seguido por IDW, Spline regularizada, natural vizinho e, por último, Topo to Raster. A diferença entre os valores observados e estimados pelo método Krigagem esférico foi muito menor do que para os outros quatro métodos, indicando ser esse o interpolador que representa melhor a distribuição espacial da precipitação pluvial média mensal para os dados em estudo.

Objetivou-se com este estudo, comparar os resultados obtidos por meio de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto orbital, no intuito de mensurar a vegetação arbórea no município de Alegre, ES. Utilizou-se uma imagem de alta resolução espacial do satélite GeoEye-1 e determinou-se a fotointerpretação da vegetação como técnica modelo a ser comparada perante os índices de vegetação NDVI, SAVI e classificadores de imagens por Distância Euclidiana e Isoseg. Os Índices de Vegetação e os classificadores foram fatiados em três classes; vegetação urbana, pastagem e áreas urbanas. Por meio da fotointerpretação a vegetação urbana foi mensurada em 68 ha. Já por meio do índice de vegetação SAVI com fator de ajuste L 0,25 obteve 66,46 ha, correspondendo a 11,73% do perímetro urbano, entretanto, o índice NDVI subestimou a vegetação urbana em 19,13 ha quando comparado à área mapeada com o SAVI 0,25. Para a região em estudo o índice SAVI com fator de ajuste ao solo 0,25 e o classificador Isoseg podem ser usados para substituir a fotointerpretação, pois apresentaram áreas de vegetação urbana mensurada com valores aproximados, além de serem menos onerosos para obtenção do mapeamento da vegetação. A high spatial resolution image of the GeoEye-1 satellite was used and the vegetation photointerpretation was determined as a model technique to be compared to NDVI, SAVI vegetation indexes and Euclidian Distance and Isoseg image classifiers.The Vegetation Indexes and the classifiers were sliced ​​into three classes; Urban vegetation, pasture and urban areas. Through the photointerpretation the urban vegetation was measured in 68 ha. However, the SAVI vegetation index with adjustment factor L 0.25 obtained 66.46 ha, corresponding to 11.73% of the urban perimeter, however, the NDVI index underestimated the urban vegetation by 19.13 ha when compared to the area Mapped with SAVI 0.25. For the study area, the SAVI index with soil adjustment factor 0.25 and the Isoseg classifier can be used to replace the photointerpretation, since they presented areas of urban vegetation measured with approximate values, besides being less expensive to obtain the mapping of the vegetation.  Keywords: Geoprocessing; photointerpretation; urban mapping.   ANÁLISIS COMPARATIVO ENTRE LAS TÉCNICAS DE TELEDETECCIÓN PARA LA MEDICIÓN DE LA VEGETACIÓN EN URBAN ALEGRE, ES Resumen El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar los resultados obtenidos por medio de técnicas de teledetección con el fin de medir la vegetación arbórea en la ciudad de Alegre, ES. Se utilizó una imagen de alta resolución espacial GeoEye-1 vía satélite y determinó la fotointerpretación de técnica de modelado de la vegetación que se compara con las imágenes de NDVI, SAVI y clasificadores de distancia euclídea y Isoseg. El índice de vegetación y clasificadores se cortaron en tres clases; la vegetación urbana, pastos y áreas urbanas. A través de la interpretación de fotografías vegetación urbana se midió en 68 ha. Ya través del índice de vegetación SAVI con factor de ajuste L obtenido 66,46 0,25 ha, que corresponde al 11,73% de la zona urbana, sin embargo, el índice NDVI subestimar la vegetación urbana en 19.13 ha, frente a la zona mapeada con el SAVI 0,25. Para la región en estudio el factor de ajuste del índice suelo SAVI 0,25 y clasificador Isoseg se pueden utilizar para reemplazar la interpretación de fotografías, como áreas presentados de la vegetación urbana medidos con valores aproximados, y son menos costosos de obtener el mapeo la vegetación. Urbanization in permanent preservation areas (APP) results in eutrophication of water bodies, water contamination and change in gene flow of the fauna and flora. Given the above, the purpose of this study was to analyze the permanent preservation areas of the Bico da Pedra Lake in the municipality of Janaúba, MG, using geotechnology. The methodology consisted of the use of Linear Spectral Mixture Model (LSMM) and the Bhattacharya unsupervised classification developed from the image of the Landsat-5TM satellite to identify the land use and vegetation in the Lake’s APP. Subsequently, we scanned the QuickBird satellite image at a constant scale of 1:5000 with the purpose of measuring the built-up areas located in the APP in the analysis. The results identified the presence of exposed soil and vegetation suppression in certain locations in the APP. The quantitative area of the APP was measured at 1768.89 ha, with the presence of 15% exposed soil, 32% sparse vegetation, 52% dense vegetation, and 1% non-classified area. We performed scanning for the presence of masonry buildings and farms; 79 of which are in the maximum level of flooding and 217 are in the APP. We concluded that the study obtained satisfactory results for the analysis and measurement of the area of permanent preservation area, allowing the identification of targets and vegetation accurately. Thus, it is inferred that this methodology can be applied in permanent preservation areas in separate locations aiming at monitoring and environmental supervision.
