Human Development Index (HDI) is measuring achievements of human development based on basic components of quality of life. Human development index is low score if HDI is less than 60, moderate HDI between 60 to less than 70, high HDI between 70 to less than 80, and equal to 80 and more than 80 belong to high HDI. Smooth Support Vector Machine (SSVM) is a classification technique that is new. The algorithm used is Newton Armijo with linear kernel, polynomial kernel, and Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel. The result of classification of human development index with SSVM method with linear kernel shows the prediction accuracy 84.77%, polynomial kernel 61.65%, and RBF kernel 100%. Radial Base Function Kernel (RBF) is the most accurate kernel in predicting human development index.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the aspects of communication and mathematical reasoning. In investigating the aspects of mathematical communication with an inquiry approach, of course there are several things observed related to learning mathematics. The focus of the material aims at observing communication and mathematical reasoning within the framework of inquiry, and the theory of planned behavior (TPB) is geometry and algebra. The research method used a qualitative research by looking at case studies with research subjects consisting of 31 prospective mathematics teachers in Semarang city. From the aspect of communication and mathematical reasoning that exists, it can be seen from the answers of 31 prospective mathematics teachers with an authentic point of view of inquiry and a theory of planned behavior for problem solving. From the observation, several cognitive processes are adapted to the authentic framework of inquiry and the theory of planned behavior for algebra and geometry material. In reasoning, a wedge appears between mathematical reasoning and communication adapted to the framework of inquiry and the theory of planned behavior. The contribution of this study is to determine the communication framework and mathematical reasoning from the theoretical aspects of planned behavior and inquiry. It is important to know aspects of communication and mathematical reasoning from a different perspective.
Proses belajar mengajar dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan suatu sistem yang menumbuhkan kemauan seorang pengajar untuk melakukan pengelolaan pengajaran secara keseluruhan. Dalam proses belajar mengajar dosen menempati kedudukan sangat sentral, sebab peranannya sangat menentukan. Dosen harus mampu menterjemahkan dan menjabarkan isi yang terdapat dalam kurikulum, kemudian mentransformasikan isi tersebut kepada mahasiswa melalui proses belajar mengajar. Lepas dari hal tersebut, peningkatan dan pengembangan mutu pendidikan selalu diharapkan. Oleh karena itu, cara peningkatan dan pengembangannya pun merupakan masalah bagi kita semua. Baik pemerintah, masyarakat, maupun masing-masing individu harus merasa berkewajiban menanggungnya.Dalam belajar, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi besar sekali peranannya untuk memajukan suatu negara. Untuk menjadi negara yang maju, maka bangsa itu harus cerdik, pandai dan banyak pengetahuannya, baik ilmu pengetahuan sosial, ilmu pengetahuan alam, pengantar probabilitas dan ilmu pengetahuan lain yang sifatnya ketrampilan. Tanpa mengesampingkan pengetahuan yang lain, peranan pengantar probabilitas kiranya sangat penting dan perlu penanganan yang serius. Pengantar probabilitas merupakan disiplin ilmu yang mempunyai sifat khas dibandingkan dengan disiplin ilmu-ilmunya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan belajar dan mengajarnya diperlukan suatu metode, mengingat mahasiswa yang berbeda-beda tingkat kemampuannya.Pengantar probabilitas timbul karena pikiran-pikiran manusia yang berhubungan dengan ide, proses dan penalaran. Pembelajaran pada materi tersebut masih menggunakan metode ekspositori. Di dalam penelitian ini, akan digunakan model Realistic Matematics Education (RME) dengan berbantuan e-learning. Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah pengantar probabilitas dengan model RME berbantuan e-learning.
This article examines the possibilities for the Free Learning Campus Program, run by the ministry of education and culture, to promote locally based learning methodologies. This essay discusses the development of reading and numeracy abilities at SD N Tambaksari in Kebumen Regency, Central Java, through learning based on local culture. The PISA test uses literacy and numeracy skills as indicators. Locally based learning approaches are intended to address the limitations of traditional learning approaches, which have historically tended to be one-sided and inconsistent in their use of technology. Students will learn how to use corn seed media in this approach, which is widely available and simple for SDN Tambaksari students to find. In reality, grade 2 pupils at SD N Tambaksari use corn kernels to master arithmetic operations. Students are also encouraged to read and discuss manuals on mathematical concepts, numbers, and online information sources. In this activity, literacy and numeracy are two topics that are looked at. Students are encouraged to watch instructional movies about arithmetic operations as they are learning. Students engage in learning more actively as a result of these activities. The majority of students are eager to engage in all aspects of their education. Through enhancing student literacy and numeracy, the independent learning teaching campus program may implement the conclusion of local culture-based education.
