Kedisiplinan merupakan sifat dari pertanggungjawaban individu untuk melaksanakan segala sesuatunya dengan tepat waktu. Jika tidak disiplin, maka pekerjaannya yang diembannya akan menjadi terbengkalai. Kedisiplinan juga perlu diterapkan dalam civitas akademika PAUD. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kedisiplinan Guru PAUD di Gugus Asoka Kecamatan Sungai Serut Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah semua guru di Gugus Asoka Kecamatan Sungai Serut Kota Bengkulu. Sampel populasi yang ada di Gugus Asoka Kecamatan Sungai Serut Kota Bengkulu berjumlah 30 orang guru dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji statistik rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kedisiplinan guru PAUD ada pada kategori baik. Pada kedisiplinan guru sikap dan tingkah laku ada pada kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan agar kedisiplinan guru dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi terutama pada kedisiplinan sikap dan tingkah laku agar kedisiplinan guru untuk kedepannya dapat lebih baik lagi.
This research was aimed at improving speaking ability through conversation method via audio visual media. This research is a classroom action research that was conducted in two cycles with three meetings in every cycle. The subjects of this research were group A children consisting of 11 people where there were 5 males and 6 females. For collecting the data, researcher using observation technique was done through observation, while the data analysis was using statistical formula of percentage and mean test. The result of this research proved that through audio-visual media, it can improve the speaking ability. The average of children speaking ability in cycle I has enough criteria, while in cycle II the criteria of children speaking ability was good. From the result of this research, it is suggested for the further researcher to study with the big book and hand puppet media, because with the audio visual media, some children still difficult to utter sounds of language and clarify verbalism
Permasalahan penelitian apakah Alat Permainan Edukatif yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Guru PAUD FKIP UNIB telah sesuai dengan kriteria Alat Permainan Edukatif yang dapat menunjang perkembangan bahasa dan kognitif anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa S1 PG PAUD yang duduk pada semester III sejumlah 75 orang. Hasil penelitian, secara umum Alat Permainan Edukatif yang telah dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa S1 PG PAUD, meliputi Alat Permainan Edukatif yang menunjang aspek perkembangan bahasa (buku cerita, permainan huruf) dan aspek perkembangan kognitif (permainan angka), berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata 3,7. Artinya, Alat Permainan Edukatif tersebut telah memenuhi syarat indikator Alat Permainan Edukatif yang dapat menunjang perkembangan bahasa dan kognitif anak. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian berikutnya aspek perkembangan anak yang diteliti lebih komprehensif, sehingga dapat menghasilkan Alat Permainan Edukatif yang menunjang keseluruhan aspek perkembangan anak usia dini
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah melalui pengembangan video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian adalah 66 mahasiswa PG PAUD FKIP Universitas Bengkulu yang juga merupakan calon guru PAUD. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penilaian atas penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) video pembelajaran, isi video pembelajaran yang meliputi kegiatan pembukaan, inti, dan penutup, serta aspek teknis video pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik rerata dan nilai ketuntasan dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan mengajar melalui pembuatan dan pengembangan video pembelajaran, baik pada aspek penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP); kegiatan pembelajaran (pembukaan, inti dan penutup) maupun aspek teknis video pembelajaran dimana pada siklus satu rerata nilai yang diperoleh untuk semua aspek adalah 3,4 atau ketuntasan 68% meningkat pada siklus kedua dengan rerata 4,1 atau ketuntasan 82%.
Salah satu ketrampilan yang memberikan kemampuan masyarakat untuk bertahan hidup pada era abad 21 adalah ketrampilan literasi membaca yang tercermin dalam kemampuan dan kemauan membaca. Hasil kajian teoritis dan praktis menunjukkan bahwa strategi Read Aloud merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk menstimulasi tumbuh kembangnya kedua kebutuhan tersebut. Di pihak lain pengetahuan dan kemampuan melaksanakan Read Aloud masih belum memadahi. Hal ini terlihat dari masih rendahnya nilai pre-test pengetahuan (34 %) dan praktek (51 %). Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan guru terhadap strategi tersebut. Mitra pengabdian adalah guru TK Witri 1 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang dipakai adalah workshop yang terbagi kedalam tiga kegiatan, yaitu ceramah dan diskusi,peer teaching, dan praktek langsung di kelas riil. Hasilnya adalah 85 % guru mitra menyatakan Read Aloud sebagai strategi baru dalam pembelajaran membaca di TK. Semua guru mitra mencapai penguasaan materi pengetahuan yang diharapkan yaitu dan semua guru mitra mencapai tingkat ketrampilan yang diharapkan dalam menerapkan strategi Read Aloud yaitu dalam tingkat ketuntasan . Implementasi Read Aloud sebagai strategi pembelajaran membaca pada anak usia dini di TK secara konsisten akan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap tumbuh kembangnya kemampuan dan kemauan membaca anak di masa depan, serta menstimulasi aspek perkembangan lainnya terutama kognitif, dan sosial emosioal anak.
