This study aims to gain an in-depth study of the supervision carried out by the headmaster. This study uses a qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques used are participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. This research was conducted in MAN 1 Trenggalek and MAN 2 Trenggalek, East Java. The results of this study that the head of the madrasa in carrying out supervision of learning adjusts to the plans outlined in the supervision program, uses instruments and observation sheets, uses the principles of supervision, uses techniques and approaches that are varied and carried out in a pleasant atmosphere. The head of the madrasa in order to carry out strategic steps as an embryo of success in implementing learning supervision in the madrasah.
This research is motivated by the reality that strategic management has enormous benefits for an organization to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of programs to achieve the goals that have been set. The benefits of strategic management include being able to identify possible threats from the environment so that they can be avoided as early as possible, being able to create synergy and organizational spirit to increase productivity, and being able to adjust the direction of the organization's journey with the mission and goals to be achieved.Strategic management is an effective alternative to strengthen the organizational culture of an educational institution, including madrasa institutions. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach with the type of research being a multi-site study. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. data is analyzed repeatedly through single data analysis and cross-site analysis.The findings of this study are 1) Formulation of strategies for strengthening madrasah organizational culture is based on internal analysis through Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM) and also SWOT analysis. 2) Implementation of strategies for strengthening madrasah organizational culture is carried out through program formulation activities as a derivative or elaboration of the strategic program formulations determined in the planning, organizational structure, and HR placement stages by their competencies 3) Evaluation of strategies for strengthening madrasa organizational culture is carried out by comparing performance achievements with indicators of program success that have been set at the beginning. Evaluation activities are carried out by involving all components of the madrasa and external parties by prioritizing the principles of togetherness, kinship, and openness as well as religious values to obtain objective evaluation results.
This article aims to find out the management of students and the strengthening of religious character through learning the yellow book. Is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Sources of information from this study were school principals, subject teachers, deputy curricula, guidance counselors and school students and school cooperative guards concerned. The method used is a qualitative method of case study research. The techniques used in data collection were carried out through non-participatory observation, interviews, and documentation using data analysis which was carried out continuously from the beginning to the end of the study starting from collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Observation temporary results show that the implementation is applied in strengthening religious character through the yellow book subjects carried out in the madrasa program.
Traditionally dated from the 8th to the 14th century, historians generally agree on the period of the golden age of Islamic civilization. They count that the keys to this civilizational achievement laid on the flourishing educational institutions, scientific findings, and the births of influential Muslim scholars. This article tries to reframe the significance of education in the creation of Islamic golden age and offer a brief reminder to the importance of education for contemporary Muslim societies. It is a bibliographical study for the materials for the discussion are taken from books, journal articles, and other written sources related to the topic. The collected data were then analyzed by content analysis. This article argues that the state policies on education is the key for the past Muslim golden age. Scientific culture ranging from namely research tradition, translation tradition, reading tradition to scientific habitus are essential in the making of Muslim golden age. This historical records reserves as a reminder for contemporary Muslim to reestablish the past golden age that lies on the reformation of educational system.
The results of this study strengthen and develop Hurlock's discipline theory, namely, the guidance given to learners can inform children about good and bad behavior as well as encourage them to behave in accordance with the standards.So therefore discipline and religious character can occur through the integration of the rules of the cottage with the school, separate units between sons and daughters, the existence of examples from educators, the existence of educational punishments, namely reading the Qur'an sholawat, etc., as well as an understanding of a discipline that results in success for learners. There will be a strengthening of the religious character of learners.
