Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaknai nilai kesenian Kuda Renggong dalam upaya melestarikan budaya daerah di Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam kesenian Kuda Renggong antara lain: spiritual/religius, interaksi antar makhluk Tuhan, teatrikal, estetika, kerja sama, kekompakan dan ketertiban, kerja keras dan ketekunan, dan sosial. Kesenian ini secara tidak langsung membentuk karakter manusia/masyarakat menjadi lebih baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan lewat tindakan kerja bersama, saling menghargai satu dan yang lain, kebersamaan, ketekunan, ketertiban, dan semangat religius yang tinggi sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Pelestarian kesenian ini didukung oleh Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sumedang, seniman, dan masyarakat. Interpreting the Art Value of Kuda Renggong in Preserving the Local Culture in Kabupten Sumedang. The research aims to interpret the art value of Kuda Renggong in preserving the the local culture in Sumedang. The research uses qualitative approach with a case study as the research method. The subject of research covers the Local Government of Sumedang, PASKURES and society. The data collection techniques use the observation, interviews, and documentation. Kuda Renggong contains some values such as: spiritual/ religious values, the value of the interaction among the God’s creatures, theatrical value, universal value, aesthetic value, cooperative value, cohesiveness and order value, hard work and perseverance value, and social value. Kuda Renggong indirectly forms human or social character better. It can be shown through out the team-work action, mutual appreciation,to getherness, perseverance, discipline, and high religious spirit as the expression to thank to God the almighty. The preservation of Kuda Renggong is supported by the government of Sumedang Regency, artists, and the society.
This research is motivated impact of globalization so that the degradation of culture and local wisdom, lack of awareness in the preservation of the culture and values of local wisdom study aims to describe the cultural part of civic skills, behaviors that reflect civic skills, citizenship skills development, constraints and efforts in conservation. So it needs to assess the values of local wisdom as civic skills in Talang Mamak tribe culture. A qualitative approach with descriptive analytic method. The findings of this study were 1) Talang Mamak tribe has a culture of mutual trust are values, attitudes ability to work together, trust, responsibility, solidarity, consensus, unity, and mutual cooperation. 2) Talang Mamak have local knowledge as a guide to behaving that reflects the behavior of citizenship skills are value patriotism, the value of equality, caring, responsibility, independence and the value of educational value. 3) the development of citizenship skills is done by carrying out traditional ceremonies, instilling the values of culture and local wisdom, and follow the cultural events organized by the government and society. 4) constraints contained in the preservation of culture and values of local wisdom that economic factors, educational factors, factors of confidence, and transportation factors.Keywords: cultural Talang Mamak Ethnicity, local wisdom, civic skills.
The implementation of peace education in the university environment has not yet found the right technical implementation, so the main goal in peace education has not been achieved, especially the application in the university environment. Therefore, this research aims to determine the general perception of board games as a media of peace education for students. This study uses a survey method collected from a representative sample of students from three different universities. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling aimed at students who have courses in which peace education is integrated. The research locations this time are the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). This study indicates that students are very enthusiastic if this board game becomes a platform for delivering peace education in the student environment. This study concludes that students agree with the concept of delivering peace education through board game media.
Penelitian ini mengkaji Kyai sebagai sentral gerakan ajaran agama islam dalam kehidupan warga negara. Mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia adalah pemeluk agama islam dengan berbagai ragam pemahaman terhadap islam itu sendiri. Kyai sebagai penerjemah al quran dalam kehidupan, dipahami masyarakat sebagai pencerah setiap persoalan. Pemikiran politik Kyai yang berbeda menimbulkan perbedaan perspektif dalam memaknai sekaligus mengaplikasikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia. Untuk mengkaji fenomena pemikiran politik kyai tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode studi kasus. Pemikiran politik tokoh agama diantaranya kyai merupakan sesuatu yang tidak biasa, bahkan terdapat pertentangan diantara beberapa agama mengenai hubungan politik dan agama. Terdapat agama yang memisahkan keduanya namun juga terdapat agama yang menyatukan keduanya, perbedaan tersebut dapat dilihat pada agama islam dan katolik. Kecenderungan islam di Indonesia antara politik dan agama tidak bisa dipisahkan karena ajaran agama islam bersifat menyeluruh. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa fenomena pemikiran politik Kyai, diantaranya yaitu darul islam dan darus salam. Kyai yang mendasarkan pada konsep darul islam diwujudkan pada pemahaman atas konsep khilafah atau imamah sebagai teokrasi, sedangkan Kyai yang mendasarkan pada konsep darus salam diwujudkan pemahaman atas konsep khilafah sebagai masyarakat madani.
The problem in this research is how to build the character of independence of students as citizens of independent, responsible and disciplined according to versions or models developed by Daarut Tauhid Pesantren Bandung. This study aimed to obtain information about the program models Civics economic development in forming the character of independence plus character-based entrepreneurship in boarding. This study used a qualitative approach, case study methods and data collection by observation, interviews, documentary studies, and engineering participants. Location of the study in Pesantren Daarut Tauhid Bandung, with a research subject, namely the operational chief, assatidz or teacher, musyrif, musyrifah or santri companion and santri or students. These results indicate that the program plus an entrepreneurial character as the character formation of student's independence is through some form of coaching program orientation, physical, spiritual form of knowledge transfer, activities in the form of skills training and activities that strengthen the independence of the students themselves.
Based on the mandate of the law, women can be active in politics at least 30%. However, in fact, since 1955-2014, the 30 percent female participation rate has not even been fulfilled. Therefore, it is important to find a breakthrough for political education. And one of them uses social media Instagram as the most popular social media by generation z today. Where at this time social media (Instagram) has become an inseparable part of everyday life, both children, parents, and almost all levels of society use social media (Instagram) especially among male students, especially for college students. woman. And social media can be used as a means of political education for generation z to know about political insights indirectly. Therefore, this study aims to describe the views of female students on the use of social media (Instagram) as a means of political education for generation z. The method used is an approach using the phenomenological method. And the phenomenological method is a method that examines the awareness of the main perspective of a person. And the results of the study show that the use of social media Instagram as a means of political education can actually provide a new perception of politics and build women's political awareness. Another discussion was about that social media greatly contributes to increasing literacy, but political parties have not been able to optimize it in playing their role as one of the institutions mandated by law to conduct political education. The conclusion is that the use of Instagram social media can increase literacy and political awareness for generation Z, especially for students about good politics.
