This study aims to predict the need for achievement to increase entrepreneurial intention by mediating locus of control of SME employees in Bali. This research was conducted on SME employees in Bali were selected by purposive sampling method with 190 respondents with a response rate of 100%. Research instruments based on the need for achievement, locus of control, entrepreneurial intention (Dinis et al., 2013). Each research instrument uses a 5 Likert scale measurement. The initial evaluation is carried out by estimating the evaluation of the measurement model, namely the validity and reliability of each reflective construct. The next evaluation was structural models for testing research models using the WarpPLS 4.0 program. The significance of the parameters is determined by resampling bootstrapping and using 500 sub-samples of equal size to that of the original sample. The results and discussion show that need for achievement is able to predict SME employee entrepreneurial intention in Bali, need for achievement can influence SME employee locus of control in Bali, locus of control has the ability to predict SME employee entrepreneurial intention in Bali, locus of control is able to mediate predictions need for achievement on SME employee entrepreneurial intention in Bali.
This study aims to examine the role of entrepreneurial competency in mediating the influence of personality traits on entrepreneurial intention. Data were collected using a questionnaire sent to medium-sized business managers in the province of Bali, Indonesia; the sample size is 385 people. Assuming a response rate of 85%, 453 questionnaires were sent. Of these, 142 returned and a usable response rate of 30.37% was achieved. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with WarpsPLS 7.0. The findings show that personality traits have a significant effect on entrepreneurial competency (β = 0.513; p < 0.001), personality traits significantly affect entrepreneurial intention (β = 0.266; p < 0.001). Furthermore, this study proves that entrepreneurial competency significantly affects entrepreneurial intention (β = 0.436; p < 0.001). This study also found the Sobel test value of 5.770, which means that entrepreneurial competency can influence personality traits and entrepreneurial intention as a partial mediator. There is a comprehensive view of the relationship between personality traits, entrepreneurial competency, and entrepreneurial intention. This study not only provides an understanding of the relationship between personality traits and entrepreneurial intention, but also provides evidence on the mechanism by which entrepreneurial competency mediates the relationship between personality traits and entrepreneurial intention.
The purposes of the study are to analyze: (1) characteristic of strategic partner and change agent roles, talent management and managers performance, (2) influence of strategic partner and change agent roles to talent management and its impact to managers performance. Four hundred hotel managers in Bali were participated in this study by using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and SEM. The result shows that: (1) strategic partner and change agent role, talent management and managers performance are in enough category, (2) positive and significant effect between strategic partner and change agent roles to talent management and its impact to managers performance.
ABSTRAKTujuan pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah metode pengelolaan usaha kerajinan Tedung Desa Mengwi, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah menjadikan usaha kerajinan Tedung Desa Mengwi sebagai penggerak ekonomi masyarakat harus dilandasi komitmen dan koordinasi yang baik diantara pengelola, akademisi dan masyarakat setempat dengan menerapkan strategi agresif yang berbasis pada ekonomi kemitraan. Pengembangan usaha kerajinan Tedung Desa Mengwi dilakukan dengan cara memberikan dukungan positif dan nyata terhadap aspek produksi, kompetensi kualitas pengembangan sumber daya manusia, khususnya jiwa kewirausahaan, teknologi informasi, akses pendanaan serta pemasaran, khususnya perluasan pasar yang merupakan indikator keberhasilan membangun iklim usaha. Usaha kerajinan Tedung Desa Mengwi diharapkan akan memberikan peran penting dalam menciptakan peluang kerja, kesejahteraan, dan peningkatan standar hidup masyarakat setempat. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pendampingan, pendidikan masyarakat, penyuluhan, konsultasi, pelatihan, dan simulasi ipteks mengenai manajemen produksi, pemasaran, keuangan, dan sumber daya manusia usaha kerajinan Tedung Desa Mengwi, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung.
