Professional teachers are not only required to master the fields of science, teaching materials, learning methods, and student motivation. They have high skills and broad insight into the world of education. This is inseparable from the guidance of a supervisor. Supervision is carried out to form and improve abilities in the teaching and learning process. Maintenance can help enhance teachers' professional skills so that teachers can carry out the teaching and learning process that they do in class well. Besides that, a teacher can also act as a professional educator in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in guiding and teaching, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, and good communication. This article aims to describe the role of the principal as a supervisor to assist the teaching profession. The research method used in this article is a qualitative method with a case study approach.
The purpose of this study was to describe and analize the implementation of holistic education in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School which is exploring in the terms of educational objectives, curriculum, learning methods, educators and evaluation. This study was uses qualitative approach research with the type of case study. That was describing and analyzing the implementation of holistic education in the Amanatul Islamic Boarding School. Implementation of holistic education in the Amanatul Ummah boarding school were carried out in a strict, responsible and disciplined manner while carrying out all things. The whole educational process from several elements includes: 1) Educational Objectives: the purpose of education in general is to form a whole human being with moral character while specifically covering. Becoming a cleric, a conglomerate, the nation's leader, and be a professional in every fields. 2) curriculum that implemented by using an integrative curriculum between the national curriculum and the standard of Al-Azhar Egypt’s curriculum. 3) Educators are demanded to be professional and has excellent personalities for being a role of models for santri. 4), the methods that applied was various, including traditional methods and contemporary methods. 5). Evaluation: the evaluation was carried out every week, monthly, semester, and yearly. All educational elements are evaluated to realize the Islamic Boarding School's vision and mission. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi pendidikan holistik pesantren Amanatul Ummah yang dieksplorasi dari segi tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, pendidik dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi pendidikan holistik di Pesantren Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto. Hasil penelitian Implementasi pendidikan holistik di pesantren Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto dilaksanakan dengan ketat, bertanggung jawab dan disiplin dalam melaksanakan segala hal. Penerapan proses pendidikan secara utuh dari beberapa elemen meliputi: 1). Tujuan pendidikan secara umum adalah membentuk manusia utuh yang berakhlakul karimah sedangkan secara khusus meliputi. Menjadi ulama`, menjadi konglomerat, menjadikan pemimpin bangsa, menjadi profesional di bidangnya. 2) kurikulum yang diimplementasikan menggunakan kurikulum integratif antara kurikulum nasional dengan kurikulum muadalah berstandar Al-Azhar Mesir. 3) Pendidik dituntut untuk profesional dan memiliki kepribadian yang mantap agar menjadi teladan bagi santri. 4), metode yang diterapkan bervariasi meliputi metode tradisional dan metode kontemporer. 5). Evaluasi: pelaksanaan evaluasi dilakukan setiap mingguan, bulanan, per semester, dan tahunan. Semua elemen pendidikan dievaluasi untuk mewujudkan visi-misi pesantren.
The Book of Bidāyatul mujtahid whose full title is Bidâyatul mujtahid wa nihâyatul muqtashid is the work of Ibn Rushd in the field of Jurisprudence which is the most famous and most qualified when compared to his other Jurisprudence books. Basically, the view of fiqh Ibn Rushd was no different from the previous fiqh scholars in terms of the relationship between Shari'a and benefit. What distinguishes between Ibn Rushd and the others is the emphasis. If the Jurists emphasized the benefit and interests, Ibn Rushd emphasized his views on the moral side. He believes that the Shari'a was born to improve human morals. In this case El Abidi stated that Ibn Rusyd was the only Jurist who built the objectives of the Shari'a on a moral foundation (morals). Kitab Bidâyatul mujtahid yang judul lengkapnya adalah Bidâyatul mujtahid wa nihâyatul muqtashid adalah karya Ibn Rusyd dalam bidang Fikih yang paling terkenal sekaligus paling berkualitas jika dibandingkan dengan buku-buku Fikihnya yang lain. Pada dasarnya, pandangan fikih Ibn Rusyd tidak berbeda dengan para ulama fikih sebelumnya dalam hal hubungan antara syariat dengan kemaslahatan. Yang membedakan antara Ibn Rusyd dan yang lainnya adalah penekanannya saja. Jika para ahli fikih menekankan sisi kemaslahatan dan kepentingan, Ibn Rusyd menekankan pandangannya pada sisi moral. Ia berpendapat bahwa syariat itu lahir untuk memperbaiki akhlak manusia. Dalam hal ini El Abidi menyatakan bahwa Ibn Rusyd adalah satu-satunya ahli fikih yang membangun tujuan syariat di atas fondasi moral (akhlak).
