Technology revolution in computer and information made Learning Man-agement System has widely been used to assist learning process. On the other side the advancement of technology in multimedia made many re-searchers have positive result in game based learning as factor that increase motivation and interest to deliver educational information. We try to pro-pose a concept to implement a multiplayer matching quiz in Moodle LMS to enrich game based learning using Moodle future research about game-based learning implementation in Moodle. The proposed model implements websocket as its multiplayer backend and game questions using Moodle Quiz plugin as a question bank.
This paper is projecting website system built on top of PHP Framework Laravel 5.2 and MySQL DBMS which contains 6 modules of scientific conference management needs, Master Conference, User Management, Submission, Website Management, Schedule, and Post Conference. From the development and testing system with Black Box method concluded that the system is running well and feasible to be applied to the management of the conference in Electrical Engineering Program Faculty of Engineering Udayana University.
With increasing needs for online or online learning and teaching activities, educational institutions need solutions for hosting their data online. The available options include building their own data center or renting a Virtual Private Server (VPS) service that is widely available. Considering the high setup and maintenance costs, many institutions choose VPS rental options such as Google Cloud Server. Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the most affordable and open-source online learning software solutions for low-cost servers. This paper will discuss the design and implementation of the Moodle Plugin that utilizes WebSocket technology to accommodate the interactive learning process with Multiplayer Games. The result of the study reports that the plugin can accommodate and simulate an increase of 1% in CPU per 15 connections and an increase of 2MB per 15 connections. Which concluded still an affordable solution for low-cost servers for real-time connection.
