Dsbci ergaben sich gwppenspezifische hggluti~~ationsmuster. Ein Stamm der Art Hhodosporidiurn toruloides kann durch Welzenkeirnlingsagglutinin zur Agglutination gebracht werden.Einige Hefestamme der Gsttung Rhodotorula und Rhodosporidium lassen sich durch die untersuchten Lektine niclit agglutinieren. Sie besitzen offenbar gegenilber den anderen gepruften Hefcn deutlich nbweichcnde Zellw andstrukturen.
