This paper describes the design and development of a heterodyne sub-harmonic receptor working at Sub-mm wave frequencies, which in this case it corresponds with 220 GHz. The design has been realized with different electromagnetic programs such as Ansoft HFSS and Ansoft Designer. Along this paper several modifications are going to be studied with the purpose of achieving a good prototype in terms of good adaptation at the OL and RF ports and low noise temperature and conversion loss.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
