Esse artigo explora a produção científica nas áreas de empreendedorismo e comportamento empreendedor. Seu principal objetivo foi investigar a participação dos autores na produção científica de trabalhos sobre a área ESO - Estratégia em Organização, sub áreas empreendedorismo e comportamento empreendedor apresentados nos EnANPADs dos anos compreendidos entre 2003 e 2012 e verificar se a produtividade intelectual em pesquisa na área escolhida seguiu uma distribuição de Poisson no período. Em relação a metodologia, essa pesquisa se classifica como descritiva de natureza empírica e quantitativa, tendo sido realizado uma pesquisa documental junto aos Anais dos Encontros da ANPAD. Especificamente, investigou-se a produtividade dos autores com base nos parâmetros estabelecidos pela Lei de Lotka utilizando o modelo Lagrangiano de Poisson. Como resultados, observou-se a participação de 387 autores e coautores diferentes nos 191 artigos analisados, sendo constatado que 16,28% dos autores publicaram duas ou mais vezes, enquanto 83,72% dos autores publicaram apenas uma vez, demonstrando baixo índice de produção científica individual e uma grande pulverização do conhecimento científico, confirmando os pressupostos da Lei de Lotka. Por outro lado, quando calculada a produtividade com base no modelo Lagrangiano de Poisson, as frequências observadas ficaram bem distantes das frequências esperadas, concluindo-se que o modelo de Lotka se ajustou melhor aos dados levantados.
RESUMOParte-se da premissa de que, nos últimos anos, o setor supermercadista tornou-se altamente competitivo, o que estimulou os pequenos varejos supermercadistas a procurar novas estratégias, tais como a organização por meio de redes, em busca da sustentabilidade do negócio. Nesse contexto, essa pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar como o pequeno varejo supermercadista da região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte se organiza em redes. Para tanto foi realizada uma pesquisa de cunho exploratória, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental de documentos da Associação Mineira de Supermercados (AMIS) e entrevistas com os gestores das sete redes varejistas supermercadistas organizadas na região metropolitana. Todas as redes são horizontais, setoriais, sendo a maioria formalizada, somando 162 supermercados participantes. As redes não possuem atividades entre si (interredes) apenas atividades em relação aos próprios associados (intrarrede), tais como estrutura de apoio às compras e distribuição de mercadorias. Este estudo objetivou apontar as características dos gestores e dos estabelecimentos pertencentes ao pequeno varejo supermercadista organizado em redes da região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. A abordagem teórica ancorou-se em pesquisas referentes a pequenas empresas, varejo supermercadista e empreendedorismo coletivo (redes). Metodologicamente a pesquisa é classificada como descritiva de abordagem quantitativa, mediante a aplicação de um questionário a 60 empreendedores do varejo supermercadista organizado em redes da região metropolitana. Os resultados apontam o porte das lojas e dos supermercados de bairro, com abrangência reduzida e altos faturamentos, chegando alguns a faturar mais de R$ 750 mil por mês, indicando que a estruturação em redes favoreceu o crescimento. Nas redes estudadas não há loja inaugurada há menos de dois anos, sugerindo que quem está no mercado luta para se manter e fortalecer seu negócio, não se arriscando a inaugurar novas lojas. Neste cenário, 63% das lojas estão estabelecidas há mais de 10 anos, indicando o fortalecimento da confiança entre os proprietários e a clientela. Quando comparados com os dados de supermercados não organizados em redes fornecidos pela AMIS, infere-se nessa pesquisa que as lojas organizadas em redes conseguiram atingir um nível de desenvolvimento melhor do que as demais lojas não organizadas, concluindo que, para elas, a participação em redes é um aspecto favorável da sua gestão para a sustentabilidade do negócio.
