The learning model is a collection of activities that occur during the teaching and learning process with the objective of achieving the set goals. The brain-based online learning model developed is a solution to the students' learning problems. The majority of students struggle to interpret all of the learning materials they receive. This resulted in students' dissatisfaction with the learning materials. The purpose of this research is to develop a brain-based online learning process design based on the aforementioned problems. The Lee & Owens model of development was used in this development research. The stages of the Lee & Owens development model are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development research findings are as follows: (1) the media experts' assessment, which resulted in an 89.35% score with a valid category. (2) The assessment of the developed learning materials by material experts resulted in a score of 91.23% with a valid category. (3) expert evaluation, with an overall score of 86.35% for having a valid category. (4) The results of individual trials produced a percentage score of 88.5% with a valid category. (5) The results of small group trials indicated an overall percentage score of 81.60% of valid categories. (6) Field trials are classified as valid when they receive a percentage of 79.89%. The results of the development indicate that the brain-based online learning design is feasible for use. Received: 11 August 2021 / Accepted: 27 October 2021 / Published: 5 November 2021
Students and lecturers cannot do direct learning. It is an obstacle in the delivery of material by the lecturer. The purpose of this research is to develop learning in the Digital Learning Learning Media course. This research uses development research—the model development used by ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects are three experts, which include material experts, media experts, learning design experts. The subject of the product trial is students. The methods used to collect data are observation, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used to collect data are questionnaires and test sheets. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative, quantitative, and statistical analysis. The results of the material expert test are 90% with the "very good" category. 90% "very good" learning design expert test, 90% media expert test in the "very good" category, and 95% student trials in the "very good" category. Based on data analysis, learning media for learning media is proven to be effective in learning. This finding proves a difference between the control class tcount value which is smaller than the experimental class tcount (3,558 < 5,610). The development of online learning can be helpful for students in carrying out learning caused by the limitations of distance and time. This bold course has innovative values, including independent online practice tests using camera simulators equipped with audio and video to make learning more interactive.
Teaching materials are an integral part of learning. Teaching materials will always develop according to technological and scientific developments. IAI Al-Khairat lecturers need an activity to help them improve their ability to compile the latest teaching materials. This mentoring activity for preparing teaching materials aims to assist lecturers in producing teaching materials that are by the characteristics of courses and students in the IAI Al-Khairat Pamekasan Madura environment. The development of teaching materials is one of the performance indicators used to evaluate the contribution of lecturers to the university's main performance indicators. Teaching materials in the main performance indicators can be used to show that the community uses them. Assistance in the development of teaching materials is carried out using the project-based learning method, where participants will produce drafts of course teaching materials. The subjects of this training activity were IAI Al-Khairat Pamekasan lecturers, totalling 30 lecturers. As a result of the training activities, lecturers can compile teaching materials on the subjects that are well taught and by the times. This activity concludes that the competence of lecturers in developing teaching materials is increasing.
Since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the Indonesian government, the learning system has undergone adjustments. Learning from home with an online system is an alternative solution that can be applied. The research describes the results of developing interactive multimedia based on mobile devices. This development aims to provide a variety of learning media that can be collaborated with online methods. The research subjects were fourth-grade students, SDN 1 Babat Jerawat Surabaya. The development model used is an adaptation of Lee Owens. The development product was tested on media experts, material experts, and potential users. The trial aims to measure the validity of the media. The validation results from media experts obtained 88.24%, material expert validation obtained a score of 90.38%, and user trials obtained a score of 79.89%. Furthermore, the effectiveness of using media in learning is measured by conducting pre-tests and post-test on students. The percentage increase in the value obtained a score of 95%. Thus the interactive multimedia based on mobile devices developed has high effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes.
This development research aims to create online digital books that students can use at the university level. Development is carried out following the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation is carried out with the assistance of material experts, media experts, and educational technology students. The initial data collection took place through interviews with lecturers and students at the Department of Educational Technology. During the analysis of needs, lecturers stated that they require online learning materials that students can use to understand better the materials, one of which is Digital Online Book. Media experts validated 86.0 % of the results, while material experts validated 88.6 % for an overall average of expert validation results of 87.9 per cent. Individual product trials yielded 86.0 per cent, small group trials yielded 84.0 %, and field trials yielded 88.0 %. The development and research concluded that the developed online digital book is feasible and valid for education. It demonstrates that developed online digital books are deserving of being used as instructional materials for students.
This service activity aims to improve the ability of teachers to arrange learning modules. This program was carried out through in-service training (IST) and on-service training (OST) methods. The andragogy approach was used in IST activities to improve teachers' ability to analyze learning materials that can be the basis for learning modules. Thirty Vocational High School Teachers attended this activity. The evaluation used was to give project assignments to the teacher for module work. The training participants were also given a Google form to fill out. The analysis used was descriptive quantitative. The results of the OST showed that the teacher had been able to analyze learning problems; the teacher understood the concept of the learning module. Moreover, the teacher could understand the idea of preparing a learning module, and the concept of evaluating the learning module. A series of OST activities conclude that teachers have the potential to develop themselves in preparing learning modules; the resulting learning modules can be categorized as good and, in general, have met the criteria for learning modules.
