South Lampung regency as one of the gates of Sumatra Island became one of the many tourist destinations in Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra. The existence of tourism activities in South Lampung District economic impacts for the community, such as increasing public income, increased employment and business opportunities for local communities. The purpose of this research is to measure the economic impact of tourism activities in South Lampung Regency. In analyzing the economic impacts of tourism activities in South Lampung District using Keynesian Income Multiplier and multiplier analysis to see the direct impact, indirect impacts, and further impacts. Based on the results of the analysis shows that the presence of tourism activities in South Lampung Regency has had an economic impact on the local economy even though the perceived impact is still small. As evidenced by the value of Keynesian Income Multiplier is 1.95, value ratio Income Multiplier of Type I 1.09, and value ratio Income Multiplier of Type II 1.34.
Authenticity and commodification of culture still being a major issue in cultural tourism development. Some people consider that the changing of culture become tourist attractions will cause the loss of culture's authenticity through modification. Many scholars say that cultures that are performed as tourist attraction will lost its originality to adjust the tourist demand. Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a cultural tourism destination is viewed one of the cultural tourism destination which is considered by many experts and scholars that are modify their culture to fulfill the tourist's desire. In fact, The Puri is never change the originality and authenticity of its cultures they have. They may be modify their cultures to performed as a tourist attraction but in the other side they still preserve the original one. They created the other version of the cultures or created a new one to showed to the tourists. What Puri Anyar Kerambitan can be a model to other puri/palace how to maintain their culture authenticity without sacrifice their original cultures.This research used a qualitative data analysis where interview was conducted to find out the perception of the respondent related to the authenticity and commodification of culture at Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a royal tourism destination in Bali, Indonesia.The aim of this research are to find out how Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a royal tourism destination stay keep their culture authenticity and what kind of modification that a palace can do without sacrifice their culture authenticity.
Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park is known with its prehistoric caves that is admitted as the eldest prehistoric caves in the world and base on the research its came from 40,000 thousand years ago. There are more than hundreds prehistoric caves in this national park. But the fact is not many people know that potential and uniqueness. People only know that area with its beautiful landscape and the place where the tourists can find the adventurous activities like rock climbing and caving. The prehistoric caves only like a dead museum without interpretation and no tourism development is conducted to attract visitors. As a cultural treasure, the prehistoric caves are not develop yet as an archaeological tourism and regarding on its potential it needs immediate development to preserve it and integrated to the tourism development that already there. The lack of coordination and cooperation between national park and heritage preservation board is the main problem why this potential attraction is not developed yet. Qualitative data analysis and interview was conducted to visitors and local communities to find out their activities in national park areas. The aim of this research is how to integrate the archaeological as tourist attraction into geotourism as main activities in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park.
This study discusses the potential of the electronic sports industry in the tourism sector, especially in urban areas in Indonesia. In this case, the potential in question includes the potential for product components in the electronic sports event industry ecosystem, as well as the potential for industrial models in the aspect of sustainability. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with the distribution of participants being all tourists from electronic sports events in urban areas in Indonesia. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that currently the electronic sports industry is growing rapidly in Indonesia and the world, this industry also indicates a positive influence on the development of the social, economic, and natural resources surrounding the industrial operating environment, so that it has the potential to become a sustainable tourism resource in the future. ABSTRAKKeterlibatan masyarakat merupakan elemen penting dalam pengembangan pariwisata, terutama di kawasan lindung. Konflik sering terjadi di dalam taman nasional karena perbedaan kepentingan. Masyarakat lokal berasumsi bahwa mereka telah hidup di taman nasional selama beberapa generasi, sementara pihak taman nasional beerasumsi bahwa mereka memiliki kewajiban untuk memiliki sumber daya di dalam taman nasional. Keberadaan taman nasional sebagai objek wisata memungkinkan mereka untuk saling bekerja sama dengan cara yang saling menguntungkan. Jadi sangat penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan masyarakat yang terkandung di dalam taman nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan wawancara dilakukan untuk manajemen taman nasional dan masyarakat lokal di dalam taman nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana taman nasional yang melibatkan masyarakat asli di dalamnya dan bagaimana mereka berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan pariwisata di dalam taman nasional. Local communities assume that they have lived in national parks for generations while national parks assume that they have the duty to have resources within the national park. The existence of a national park as a tourist attraction makes it possible for them to cooperate with each other in a mutually beneficial manner. So it is very important to know how the involvement of the community contained within the national park. This research used a qualitative research method and interview was conducted to both national park management and local community inside the park. The aim of this research are to find out how national park involving the indigenous community inside the national park and how they participated in tourism development inside the park.
