Epikarst springs in less developed karst areas typically have predominant diffuse flows where groundwater chiefly moves through spaces between rock grains. This might lead to different flow characteristics between flow dominated by diffuse and dominated by large conduits resulting from dissolution processes. This research aimed to analyze the multitemporal characteristics of phosphate contamination of epikarst spring water in the Gunungsewu Karst Area, Java Island, Indonesia. Phosphate levels were determined from the spring water samples collected every two weeks for nine months to encompass two seasons characteristic of tropical environments: dry and rainy. Results show that the phosphate concentration of the Gedaren Spring exceeded the water quality standard at different times, was likely high in the rainy season and low in dry season and showed positive correlation with rainfall and flow discharge. Further, it was identified that the phosphate was probably generated by agricultural activities or different sources from sulfate and nitrate, as indicated by their weak positive correlations between phosphate-sulfate or phosphate-nitrate.

This study aims to 1) analyze local residents' perceptions of tourism activities in the Baturraden tourism area from economic, social and environmental aspects, and 2) propose programs that need to be undertaken by Penta Helix. This study employs quantitative analysis with a survey method. Questionnaires were distributed to as many as 69 respondents who were local residents. The results of the study indicate that the local population's perception of tourism activities is good. Yet, field observations found various obstacles dominated by the economic sector, including mentoring and coaching for business actors, business education and training for MSMEs, job opportunities for local communities, prices of goods and local community welfare. The implications of this study are 1) a survey on local residents' perceptions of tourism activities is conducted regularly every 6 months; 2) immediately responds to follow-up any complains by local residents; 3) the importance of developing a blueprint for Sustainable Tourism in the Baturraden Tourism Area; 4) collaboration between the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) with the Office of Manpower, Cooperatives, and UMKM (DisnakerKopUMKM) it is important to increase the involvement of local communities in tourism area management activities; 5) all stakeholders supervise each other with regular tests to monitor river water quality; 6) the importance of special attention related to building permits and regulations related to the environment.

This research was conducted to compile a mapping of the creative economy sub-sector in Makassar City. Research approach with qualitative-descriptive methods. The spatial data obtained were analyzed using the ArcGIS 10.5 application and produced spatial and non-spatial data. There are 261 business actors in 15 sub-districts in Makassar City who have spatial and non-spatial data. This study concludes that parekraf sub-sector activities are spread evenly in the Makassar City area and there are 3 (three) leading sub-sectors including culinary business as much as 31%, fashion as much as 17% and crafts as much as 10% . The results of this research are expected to facilitate the government in making policies related to the development of the creative economy in realizing Makassar as a world city. Apart from that, it is easy for the community to search for the Makassar City parekraf through and know the location of the location because it is supported by the display of the Makassar City parekraf distribution map. Future research is expected to be able to develop modeling of the Makassar City Parekraf subsector with a webgis platform that is connected to the hotel industry, restaurants and tourist villages in the Maminasata Region as the main requirement for a metropolitan city.
